I spoke to my ex-wife, who still lives in Dolton, Devon, where Charlie & Shirley's Arabian stables are (I used to live there myself up until 11 years ago) and she confirmed that Charlie and Shirley have split. I took my wife to see The Eagles at Twickenham last night. We were sat in West stand Block 108, and tge sound was the worst I've ever heard in a stadium..there were 3 speakers systems on gantrys at the back of the main arena seating which were totally out of synch. with the rest of the sound. Resultant effect was a half-second or so "delay" in the drums which ruined virtually every

Forligan, I agree, nothing really beats Fender + Fender. Only trouble is playing it somewhere where you can play loud enough to get the total sound without relly upsetting the neighbours. I used to play more Stones (Strat) but nowadays I'm more comfortable live (in my local pub) with Country/folk stuff on Acoustic Guitar or Mandolin. No Expectations I love !!!
