QuoteManofwealthandtaste A few observations on an amazing evening of Rock 'n' Roll played like it should be...... My visit to the Eel Pie Museum as well worth it, filled with a wealth of facts about those early days of R&B in that part of the world. It was pointed out to me that the Stones' 9th gig at Eel Pie Island was on the 19th June, exactly 55 years ago to the day. T

Quoteodean73 QuoteGreen Lady QuoteEddieByword Quotepeoplewitheyes I went last night with my three children (8, 8 and 5) and we all had a blast! I thought the energy level was a little low at first, but as we headed toward sundown they cranked it up, and by the halfway point they were playing at a blistering level. For me, the highlights were BoB and BTMMR. A few observations - Satisfaction s

They landed this afternoon after a 20 minutes flight from Birmingham, staying at the Radisson hotel in the city centre, which used to be the 'Free Trade Hall' where Dylan was heckled 'Judas' in 1965. Jagger didn't arrive with the rest of the band. Lots of people seem to be snapping up the remaining £60 and £80 tickets, word has got around how great this tour has been so

I'd definitely recommend a visit to Olympic Studios (now a cinema and swish café) in Barnes - not far from Richmond/Twickenham. They are also opening their own vinyl record shop in May, which promises to celebrate the studio's brilliant past...

Southampton is an easy train journey out of London Waterloo. If you go to Southampton, you surely have to visit the New Forest right next to it, and coastal villages/towns like Lymington and Mudeford.

Quoteretired_dog Quotejackflash27 Quotehockenheim95 Quoteexhpart Yes but by the time May comes it will have been very nearly 5 years since they played Glastonbury and the 2 Hyde Parks. Also Glastonbury was already sold out before the Stones were even announced. Plenty of pent up demand here means they can sell out 8 stadium gigs. But why isn't GA for 90 Pounds sold out at any show? QuoteMileHigh I haven't really watched the SFTD opener from No Filter I on YouTube but I have really mixed feelings about that song live. Of course the high water mark is GYYYO. By the time the Bigger Bang tour rolled around it started to feel like it was beaten to death and just plain boring. Like an old warhorse on its last legs. Plus, I get cringes from the drum machine. It just do

Tram stops at Old Trafford, Trafford Bar, Pomona and Exchange Quay are all a short walk from the stadium. Some fans will no doubt 'walk out' to the stadium from the city centre too (2 miles). For those wanting something different (and possibly cheaper), Altrincham is a 20 minute tram ride from the stadium and one of the more 'thriving' suburbs/towns around Manchester

Is there still a chance that they will do Stuttgart on 23/6 (on the way down to Marseille) and Berlin on 30/6 (then on to CZ, PL), which seems to make more sense logistically?
