QuoteIrix QuoteStonedRambler I think it's clear after two covid summers how strong the seasonality of the virus is. Last summer here in Europa we were really worried about the full stadiums and people gathering around the stadiums during the European football cup. Surprisingly it didn't have that much of an impact on the case numbers which were quite low at that time. The expected De

Great crowd, top band. Wee Wee Hours with Imelda May is one of the highlights of the year. Spoke to SW in the foyer, very pleasant. A better crowd in Mcr than London, all rockin and rollin from Sweet Little Rock'n'Roller onwards.

Enjoyed Thursday night, the 'Up and Coming' review captured it better than the slightly odd Guardian review (what were they expecting?). I reckon at least 1/3 of the Shepherds Bush crowd were non-Brits so it'll be interesting to see how well attended the B'ham and Manchester shows are. Also the stalls are seated in Manchester (I was one of the fools that bought tickets i

I met someone who said 'I wouldn't open the curtains if they were playing on my front lawn'. I wanted to say, but didn't, that their windows would be shattered by the crossfire hurricane whirling away outside! General ignorance abounds and they are judged on their (apparent) wrinkles by far too many people. Listen to the music and appreciate what great men they are!

I thought the U Arena (La Defense Arena) was absolutely great - yes, the infamous Paris II. But many experienced an echo, due to where they were located in the arena. Arena crowds just aren't big enough for this final leg of their career (unless you do three nights).

Not much to discuss about these rehearsals IMO. Last year they rehearsed Cry To Me, Monkey Man, Neighbours and other tunes off Out of Our Heads ++ That’s right! Someone recorded a little ‘Fool To Cry’ at a soundcheck the gu

Quote35love QuoteMisterDDDD Quote35love QuoteTumblinDice76 Never been a fan of "Like a Rolling Stone". Way over done by everybody and when the Stones do it live it just seems like they are reaching. It was momentous at Old Trafford Stadium 2018. Mick had the entire crowd in the palm of his hand. That’s what I gathered from the live video caught during the show. Thanks for the re

Thank you BV for the update and thank you for having this 'place' to converge before, during and after the shows, and in the run up to the 'next time'.... My dad met you in Cardiff Bay and just that little chat really made his day (he's not even on this forum, I feed back to him...), along with one of the best shows of the tour - we did 7 in total which was absolutely

Charlie wouldn’t slow it down on MR tonight, Mick asked twice but Charlie cheekily kept bashing, I’ve said this after every show but that was the best MR. Brilliant. Ronnie solos fantastic tonight and Keith had 3 ovations! Very emotional. Jagger always fantastic but particularly masterful, with extra confidence, tonight. The dancing in Miss You and MR is just incredible. And the Stuttgart

On the TGV from Avignon to Strasbourg for Stuttgart tomorrow. Amazing how many people have seen the Stones recently or in the past when you start talking to them. Lady next to me is French but saw them 15 years ago in Portland Oregon where she lives, thinking it was the last time. Said she was first one on her feet singing after thinking ‘surely they are too old’ before the show. She said ‘say h

Quotearizojp Quotegotdablouse Wow, great pic ! Is it the lights or were there empty areas in GC when the pic was taken ? Lights ! GC was packed like...sardines GA was massively packed and people were taking up positions they just wouldn’t have been allowed to get away with at UK shows... this all added to the great atmosphere and ambience.
