Quotebv There will be a Stones Tour in Europe like usual in June and July. The tour is expected to be announced next week. It will be their 60th anniversary tour. No worries. I hope to see many friends and fans this summer on tour. Last year we all worried about the pandemic. Now it is spring, there are still worries, but they will be sorted out, I am sure. Very much looking forward to it and I

Quotegrzegorz67 Quotespunky No Wembley? No talk of it and thankfully not. Awful venue for live music with piss poor sound. Not to be confused with the old Wembley which stood on the same spot and regularly hosted live music until it closed in 2000. I've seen a lot off people moan about the sound but the shows I went to there were awesome (maybe I had standing tickets so the sound was bet

QuoteTopi So you're saying Wembley can host 70K in a concert setup? Just read that the maximum capacity allowed for Hyde Park is 65,000, not sure if true. Yep, that's right. I've looked at the 3 shows I went to at Wembley and they were all at 70,000. Hyde park show sounds right at 65,000

QuoteTopi Wonder what the difference in capacity between Hyde Park and Wembley is? Around 70,000 I think. Apparently Adele has the record there of 98,000 but her stage was in the middle so that's why the attendance was larger than normal

Awesome to see Hyde Park listed as rumoured shows again and twice I will definitely be there as I live in London too. I was hoping for Wembley Stadium as they've never played there since the new one opened but a Stones show is perfect anywhere

QuoteThe Sicilian The daughters of music legends Mick Jagger and Michael Jackson linked up this week for Paris Fashion Week in the City of Lights, as Georgia May Jagger and Paris Jackson dressed to the nines for Vivienne Westwood’s Womenswear Spring/Summer 2022 show Friday. Model Jagger, 29, looked clean cut and glam in a gold dress with a thigh high split. Jagger also accessorized with pearls

No idea when the FRolling Stones will stop obviously but it would kind of be perfect if they did next year after a 60th anniversary European tour which finishes in London, any of the London stadiums would be perfect but it would be pretty cool to do a couple of shows at Wembley stadium which they still haven't played at since it re-opened in 2007

QuoteFrogSugar Don't have Sirius here in Europe. Will this end up on YouTube? Any chance of video too...? Yeah Sirius isn't available in Europe but Howard Stern has the official YouTube channel that posts a lot of the content with video. Not sure we will get the whole interview but longish clips will be uploaded for sure.

From all the video clips and reports I've read from the opening night, I have a very positive feeling of this latest tour. The band seems to be firing well and Steve Jordan is different for sure but he was never going to be Charlie but I like what he is doing and the band seems to be synching very well so far with him

Age? Grieve? Maybe so, but I've seen most of the videos now and can't say I've noticed that (apart from the little speech when Keith held his hand). He's as pro as

Quotejumpingjackflash5 QuoteBig Al I’m quite impressed with Jordan’s drumming during Paint it, Black. Paint it black is not close to the original. But Start me Up sounds good. Thanks so much for the review BV, very heartfelt and beautifully written. Hopefully I can see them next year if they play in London again and am sure those same kind of emotions will come over me too.

Agreed BV. I selfishly hope they come and do a couple of shows at Wembley stadium as a tribute to the ‘Wembley whammer’ Charlie Watts next July to coincide with the 60th anniversary or somewhere else in London an then potentially finish there. Or they could just do another European tour, who knows but that’s what i hope they do

I remember my first show at Murrayfield in 1999 and being so freaking excited and delirious jumping up and down about seeing the Rolling Stones and I felt the same level when I saw them for the 7th show at Twickenham 3 years ago, no other band gives that same energy and love and awesome feelings.

Charlie's death is still a shock and still hurts now (three days later) I know we all die one day but I thought the Stones would live forever, they are all such legends and form part of the greatest band ever. lUCKILY I had the horn and privilege to see Charlie and the band live 7 times, I feel so thankful for that.

I really hope they make the location public purely because I would love to pay respects as the hearse drives past or when it arrives at the Church etc. I live in London so it would be easy to attend. Full respect if it's a totally private funeral too of course, Whatever Charlie wanted would be respected

I'm thinking that the Stones will honor there shows next year in north America and then in 2022 they can possibly do a couple of shows in London at Wembley stadium? They haven't played their since the new stadium opened and July will mark 60 ears since the first show.

I any of the band were too ill or just didn't want to perform anymore I am sure that would be the end. The Stones would never fnd a replace at this stage of there careers I am sure of it.

Yep, thought the press conference thing was a strange suggestion. I do really like them though, wish the Stones would do one again as it's always fun to see the band joking around and answering questions sometimes.

QuoteBashlets I doubt a press conference. It’s all done social media. No need for interviews with reporters dissing ticket prices, asking about baby Jagger, dudes you’re too old bullshit. I say no live press conference IS Gillette Stadium not an option for this tour? (Boston, well Foxborough but Boston is closest city)

I know people complain about the prices being too high but to be honest, with the calibre of performers like the Rolling Stones are I believe they justify it, they are the epitome of rock n' roll legends and a band that will never be matched so I don't feel like the prices are too high. I hope they perform again in London after the US shows this year, seen them 7 times already but wo

Quotebradleycsocal My money is on The Stones to open the Rams new stadium at the end of July and then they will open the Raiders new stadium in Las Vegas in August. The NFL thing great publicity for both. Well Taylor Swift is already opening the new stadium so the Stones would have to be after her i think. Could still open the new one in Vegas though. That would be epic

If the Stones do finish the tour off in London then Twickenham or Wembley would be the most obvious choices i feel. IF they do Twickenham then this absolutely must be on a friday or saturday because getting out during the week is awful. Event days on the weekend are much, much easier to deal with due to later running of underground lines and at Wembley it would be perfect because there is 24 hour

What initially made me a Rolling Stones fan was watching them live on TV in 1995. They played Ellis Park stadium in South African in February that year and it was the first Stones show ever in South Africa so it was televised. My mom was there and it wasepic, epic show it got me hooked from that moment on, listening to the albums, watching music videos all helped me love them more as i love that

Hey guys, DDifficult to keeo up to date on if a London date at the enbd of the tour has been discussed again yet?? Just wandering if Twickenham stadium is a rumor?? I work there during events and there are "concert 1 and concert 2" dates written in for June 27th and July 4th (both saturdays) could the Stones play one or both of those?

Hey everyone What is the situation regarding a potential end of tour show in London? Is that still a rumour?? I'd love to see the Stones live here again. Seen them 7 times already but just can't get enough of this incredible band. Is Wembley stadium a possibly? Can't believe Mick and the boys have not been there since it re-opened 12 years ago
