Quotejosepi QuoteSilver Dagger Hackney Diamonds is like a long lost lover who you've pined over for many years but who suddenly walks through your door and returns to your life. It was the exact opposite for me. I broke up with my gf of 3 years the day HD came out. It's already a heartbreaking, nostalgic album for me. The girl is caught in a cult and I just can't get her out. I g

After listening to it for a week, this is my HD top 12: 1: Mess It Up, this should be the next single, it's so catchy, I love it 2: Get Close, one of my favourites 3: Dreamy Skies, a new Stones country classic, love Micks harmonica on this and Keith's backing vocals 4: Whole Wide World, love this track, real British rainy day feeling 5: Live by the Sword, I love the way Mick sing

I think the songs are doing quite good on Spotify streaming, just look in some Viral hits lists, you will mostly find Sweet Sounds and Angry. That said, all this will be blown away when 1989 (Taylor's Version) is released this friday ofcourse.

QuoteCristiano Radtke Many people young, cool and attractive can also be seen on their concerts. Yes, when you watch an official live release, like Sweet Summer Sun, you see mostly young people partying in the audience. But in reality, mostly old people. Is the Stones marketing team ashamed of the aging core fanbase?

Yes, I feel it's going to be a trilogy. This is the red album, the next one will be blue, and the final one will be black and white.

This should be a single, maybe as a remix with Dua Lipa. With a video clip in which Jagger shows his Moves.

I listened to the complete album twice in the car today. I'm pretty sure now: I like this album better than Bigger Bang, Bridges to Babylon and Voodoo Lounge. It is a fairly short album, but catchy, it is well put together. There are no boring parts, the only song I wanted to skip a bit was Sweet Sounds of Heaven, because it is so long and because I have listened to it so many times lately.

Every time the media talks about the Stones' new album, you mainly see old men, 60+, in the record stores with their new record. This is of course their fan base, but the Stones marketing machine mainly shows young fans. The Stones have to be hip and stay in the Spotify top 100. It should appeal to young people who want to wear the tongue logo. But how do you do that when the news only shows

Quotegotdablouse QuoteStonesSmeth99 This article is quite interesting - Indeed! So an (hoped) 18 month lifespan? Let's hope it works out to plan...Looks like Mick has high hopes for the album! And Mess It Up is the 3rd single apparently!

I think the album has something for everybody. Personally, I don't really LOVE a song like Bite My Head Off.. it's good though. But I do love Dreamy Skies.

It's kind of sad Mick is already saying the public doesn't want to hear new songs and they maybe will play 1 or 2 new songs in upcoming concerts. They wanna hear Gimme Shelter. Same old same old I guess.

When the album is released, the credits will also be available. rightly observed From what I have gathered, neither Chuck or Darryl are on the album. But we'll see. QuoteIrix QuoteNilsHolgersson I don't know, they just released Stray Cat Blues as a digital single last friday. That was by ABKCO which owns the RS catalogue 1963-1971. Past 1971 releases are by RS own Promotone, currently licensed to Universal Music. Aahh okay never mind then
