The Eagles live in Los Angeles 1976.It is the 2nd disc in the 40th anniversary edition of Hotel California. The tour was starting just as the album was being released. The version of Take it to the limit in this set is awesome.

I saw him live in Seattle a couple of years ago. He was very good. Had Graham Bonnet(Rainbow) singing with him among others. While I know he had some down years his tone and playing are great at this point.

My God, all these people complaining about the SMU intro. He had to crank his volume up then miss hit a chord. After that the song took off. You could watch a true Live performance by any band and you will see a bum note, bad chord.

There is an article from the "Irish Sun" that basically blames the poor sales on high ticket prices but to me the reporter seemed to be pretty condescending. Bringing up that both U2 and Garth Brooks had no trouble selling out the place and the Mick is having to do PR work to drum up interest.

Like what this band is doing. The kids wear their influences on their sleeves. They are playing good, fun rock music and getting attention for it. There may be better younger bands out there at the moment but if GVF can draw attention and get people rocking again I am all for it.
