I’m glad Was steered the album to classic era Stones direction. Those groove demos Mick wanted to do do not sound very promising. I suppose Suck On The Jugular is the closest one from the final album that present those ”groove tunes” and it’s the worst track on VL.

Ouch. Angry goes not too well. Mick sings it in lower key than the rest of the band. Maybe the band should drop the tuning a bit to make it more comfortable to Mick.
