If , and i say if the Stones are done, it becomes interesting in a way. Micks solo projects have been a little bit disappointing to some degree, and i can't see him donating time to another solo album, so where does that leave Mick. I don't think film production will fill much of his time and Mick likes to be productive, would he want the pressure of a solo tour with his voice being

QuoteMathijs QuoteHMS The Stones won´t show up uninvited. And an invitation is very unlikely after they treated Wyman so awful in 2012. I believe inviting Wyman/Taylor for 50 and counting was a planned and well executed humilation of the "unfaithful" ex-members. First they humilated Wyman off- and on stage. Then Taylor´s 2-year-long humilation began. He rarely ever had a chance to play

QuoteGasLightStreet People are suspecting Charlie as the reason for no more touring but I'm leaning towards it actually being Keith. Charlie hasn't wanted to tour since, what, 1981 was when he really let it be known but possibly before that he grumbled about it. Yet he's always shown up. That's reason enough to think it's not Charlie. Ronnie, hell, he'd play ever

Everyone is contradicting themselves here, either one of them is sick and there will be no more shows in 2017,not ever, or they are fine, they just don't have immediate plans for the future. I would say that Ronnie and Mick appear to be in great shape, so it's down to Keith or Charlie. I just wish we new more about what could be tragic news.

If the Stones are going to bow out in an organised way it will be in London, not in front of 200 non fan's at some fat cat's private party. What could have caused this alleged abrupt finish to playing live in this way would have to be a decision based on poor health of one of the band members. Otherwise it's just a case of when Mick wants to do some shows he will call Keith an

Looks like Keith got the best out of Mick on this one. Keiths been banging on about Mick being a great Harmonica player forever, now we get to hear it again after all this time, this is Keiths band now and it really shows.

With Mick conserving energy for obvious reasons we get a better more tight band, Keith And Ron seem happy with Mick just in front of them, perhaps Mick tries too hard when he darts all over the stage, just my observation , happy band happy Mick surely.

Any feedback yet on how well Keith played his 3 song set ?? I thought Keith was in good form on the few youtube videos i have seen so far. Great improvement from the first desert show, Ronnie sounded good too but very low in the Mix for some reason.

Reading through these ten pages we start to get a clear picture that the Stones have indeed out priced themselves. I have been a huge fan of this band but the greed of Mick and co seems to be backfiring. Unless money is no object they seem to be out of reach for most fans wanting to see them live. Its mostly young people that pay to see live acts and the purse strings of most young fans only stre

They should have got Keith to sing, much better voice, less nasal. Sounded mighty fine on Silver the other night. Best ever from he and Wood. Hell would anyone ask for a refund if Ron and Keef did a Barbarians thing. Sorry just trying to shed some light into all this depression on here.

QuoteStoneage Didn't you all hear his nasality during the desert gigs? I think his laryngitis (if it is that) is chronic. It's been a companion of his ever since the late 90s. He sounded nasaly in the desert. That's how Mick sings.

Quoteroller99 Quoteifucantrockme The conspiracy theory in me says that Mick isn't sick, but this is the result of poor ticket sales for Saturday. I think they are banking on the fact that many people already traveled to Vegas and will extend their stay and buy tickets for Saturday. That would also explain why this poor selling Saturday show has not been flexed or excessively lucky dipped.

Quotevirgil Quoterebelrebel Quotemnewman505 Oh no, people with disposable income are STUCK in Las Vegas for a few days with nothing to do? Sounds quite tragic. Uncalled for. Not everyone who travels long distances is either money or time rich. I agree I can't just fly anywhere when I want. What happened to ticket prices, in 89' it was £25 for a standing ticket in the Stadium, 1

Wow this is bad news, my heart goes out to all you people with tickets that have travelled, in 89' Keith's infected finger caused the Wembley show to be cancelled, unfortunately i didn't have Vegas to drawn my sorrows in, so all is not lost and hopefully they will reschedule for next week.
