QuoteDandelionPowderman < auto tune is used to cover the fact the singer cannot carry a tune on their own> Not here. It's used to obtain a sound or an effect that was modern a few years ago. The thing is though, Mick has never been able to replicate the vocals live that we hear in the Studio, this has been the case throughout his life, from Satisfaction to Start Me Up and on to

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteKRiffhard QuoteDiamondDog7 (please, before you read...don't shoot me! LOL ) Great news indeed. The Stones are working again! BUT.... I really don't like this song at all. Why? - Lyrics aren't that good. - Jagger's voice is still good, but he sings un-naturally. - Dull beat and overrated. - Backing vocals are annoying and simple. -

QuoteMadMax Sat down with a pint of Guinness and a big line of Mr Watts and turned out the lights after warming up with Hampton 2nd half, (my 38th on monday), terrific tune!! Black and Blue vibes, yeah but also sounds a bit like Laugh, I Nearly Died and as someone wrote earlier, Sweet Neo-Con. I like it, bit of reggae and an urban style crawling king snake tune, the perfect polar opposite of

This feels like a genuine Jagger Richards composition, Micks obviously done the lyrics and the music is very similar to Love Is Stong, a Keith song if ever there was one. Also very similar to Rain Fell Down.

Sounds great, totally original by the sound of it, doesn't particularly sound like anything they have done before, well done Mick, well done boys, now i really want the new album if it ever gets finished. Pity they didn't give any visual aspect to this, maybe to follow hopefully.

Reminds me a bit of Heaven from Tattoo You. Also sounds a lot like some of Keiths solo stuff. Scratch that I'm listening to a link that's obviously the wrong song, it's instrumental lol.

Just came up on my phone lol, I got to wait 60 minutes, what a lovely surprise from the boys, had a feeling they would do something during the lockdown, pleased most of you guys like it. Oh the suspence of waiting to hear it, reminds me of the old days when the Stones used to make music together

It's a bit hard on Keith to bash him over his playing here, Keith has had no interest in playing this song live since 82' With the half a second time delay between continents he couldn't have played it with gousto without ruining the whole thing anyway

QuoteNate The government here in the U.K. keeps promising to get testing up to 25,000 tests a day but even at that rate it would take around 8 years to get everyone in the country tested.Of course not everyone in the country may need to be tested but it would certainly be smart to introduce much wider testing and also introduce a legacy test to know if people have had it and are now clear so we c

Almost a prediction of what is happening right now from a METRO article in Sept last year. Strange don't you think, like they knew this was coming and warning governments to do more in preparation three months before COVID 19 was discovered. Suspicious?

Not surprising, sad really because there is no guarantee all the Stones will be able to do another tour next year. At their ages another year is a long time for each of them to be in the shape that's needed for a tour. Can't for the life of me work out why old people couldn't stay isolated while the rest of the world goes about their daily business and carry on as normal, ke

Yeah DP, Mick's on fire when Keith's producing the goods and Jagger himself can bounce off on Keith's creativity, but when Keith no longer plays ball with Mick and sort of sections him out, it leaves Mick vunerable and wanting creatively. Basically without Keith Mick is just another song writer, not Jagger Richards.

If the powers that be wanted to rid the planet of 10% of its elderly population, the people that no longer contribute but cost governments, you couldn't invent a better virus. Just saying, it's not like economies can afford to go into lockdown year after year, and the young will soon get bored of not going to events and concerts. I'm sure at some point people will say children

Yes it's a strong ballad, i love the honesty of the lyrics, bitter sweet bordering on unhealthy obsession, we've all been there at some point in a relationship and Keith has blown me away with this track, Just A Gift is also a stand out track for me, a song of longing and what might have been or could be. Crosseyed Heart just gets better each time i go back to it , the mark of
