I love this release but my la Friday DVD includes a different show on the accompanying cd than the DVD. So we have 2 shows of th LA 75 run . Has anyone figured out what dates these are from I remember there being much confusion about it the DVD being Sunday we thought but called Friday. And what date is the accompanying cd from. Thanks

There are heaps of classic stones bootlegs on eBay Search for TMOQ. It's all over for record shops anyway , not enough customers and the margin was never there on records to begin with. Record shops needed people to buy books , mags etc as well to make the sale profitable for the shop . High rents etc and the Internet make it tough for all retail . The deluxe sticky box is all on spotify. For about 10 bucks a month i have every stones release in my pocket as well as almost every album in the rock universe except the Beatles. I should be a salesman for spotify I am obsessed with it .

I am really enjoying under the influence and it made me think about my favourite music docos and least favourite. Gimme shelter could be number 1, the ginger baker doco was good recently. I thought it might get loud with jimmy page and the edge was a lost opportunity. I am sick of the Eagles but their recent doco was great.

I am enjoying some of these new songs, but on a hugely anticipated new album from our beloved Keith I didn't expect to hear some stones riffs being major parts of his new songs. In " trouble " the first thing I heard was the cyhmk riff, it's buried but it's there. Maybe jagger can sue Richards on behalf of the jagger/Richards songwriting team, And get a credit, much

Also while we are at it , in " trouble " I can hear the intro riff from "can't you hear me knocking " . The point is surely Keith can hear these similarities too , and why bother rehashing these great riffs again

The highlight is some silent live footage on stage in Sydney with many great close ups of the band for about 2 minutes with the backing of " I'm moving on" live from the Decembers children album ( I think ).
