QuotestonesR1 ExileYeah,if you’re talking about the greatest rock n roll album by anyone. But we are limited to recent albums. I think Bridges is their best album by far, but all the others have some great songs like Out of Tears

Brian was a founding member who was instrumental in creating the band and it's unique sound. He is not overrated. With respect to Sympathy he most likely was important in turning the song from a Dylanesque folk song to the percussive album version. He was experimenting with African percussion on Satanic. But of course Mick and Keith wrote most of the songs.

Doesn’t look like he has floor seats.Almost all the celebrities sit there because they are the best seats.I wonder if he is reminiscing about his birthday party there in1972

All the Rage was already released on Goat Heads SoupDeluxe.Itwas worked up from You Should Have Seen Her Ass,by Mick with new vocals and lyrics. Why would a new Stones album in 2023 have a song from 1973? Why not just add a Brian Jones era outtake like Family, or I Can See It? This an inane post

For me, the twin peaks of the Stones’ live are 1972-1973, and 1989-1990

This all presupposes that in a live experience trying to replicate exactly how the song sounded on record is better than doing it differently.Although I really like the 1989- 1990, the looser jamming earlier is just as good.I think the earlier extended playing on songs detracted from Mick being the focal point.

QuoteMathijs QuoteThe Joker QuoteIrelandCalling4 QuoteSighunt Boy, when i see this, how I would love to acquire a complete professionally shot 69 show of the Stones at the Garden before I leave this world. Such a shame that what's left over from what the Maysles filmed is just sitting in a vault somewhere gathering dust... I know, how we all wish we could see that footage. Knowing that the

No offense to Chuck, but Nicky Hopkins on the 1972 tour played just the best piano live of any of the Stones keyboards players. His playing on songs like Street Fighting Man, Ft Worth ,2nd show , is rocking at its best.Too bad he had health problems which did not allow him to player on tours after1973

QuoteDandelionPowderman The Stones didn't have anything to do with the release of Hot Rocks, so ABKCO would have to answer for that back cover, I guess. That is irrelevant because it was the Stones themselves who decided they would be the poses for the picture

His Majesty, how come on the Flowers Album, Brian is the only flower stem with no petals ? Why on the back cover of Hot Rocks is he the only one who looks like he is about to fall off the wall. Also, on the inner sleeve of Beggar’s, Mick and Keith are enjoying the Banquet while Brian looks frustrated with a dog jumping on him.In the Child of the Moon video he is not with the band, but peering behin

Quotemickschix Why is everyone only thinking of transportation from Boston to Foxboro? Why aren't you looking at small towns near the stadium? Hotels there might even offer a shuttle service. Boston is a flaming NIGHTMARE to get in & out of! Just a thought!Because some of the people are flying into Boston

Downtown Boston is about 26 miles from Gillette Stadium. But Boston near the rush hour can be really congested.Plus it is just the beginning of the beach season in Cape Cod, so that might slow you down.
