The album seems like mostly all Jagger songs. But it’s got some good songs, and good guitar playing by Keith and Ron.It’s a good album and great for their ages. The only thing I don’t like that much is Jagger’s mannered vocals. And Id like them to try music which is a little more adventurous the next time

The only of his playing that I don't like very much is where he is required to play mainly rhythm guitar. I find him annoying on HTW, his rhythm feel for StarF i

Quotefrankotero What no guitar overdubs? I was under the impression there’s a lot of that throughout all tracks. You should listen to the bootlegs of the MSG and Baltimore shows. There are no overdubs except maybe Carol and Little Queenie, and even on those tracks it is not very noticeable since it is not the lead guitars

QuoteTheflyingDutchman QuoteMathijs QuoteTheflyingDutchman They are better after or at the end of a tour because they have more routine. Clean or on Cocaine and drunk. The way that Keith, Rom Wood or Taylor play is not technically demanding. First, try to play like Richards and Wood on the 1978 and 1981 tour and you'll find out it is much more technically challenging then expected. The

QuoteMathijs QuoteTaylor1 Personally , I hear nothing wrong with his playing on those 50 and counting shows, even if it’s not 1972-1973 playing. Well, check out his totally failed attempt to play Silver Train, or the various Sway solo's that were trainwrecks. Or many CYHMK where he is just noodling. MathijsWow, since he only played Silver Train and Sway 2 or 3 times after 40 years th

Mick sounds almost defensive when the interviewer points out that JJ Flash is”basic” compared to the more complex music on Satanic Majesties , and yet it’s one of their greatest songs and better than anything on Satanic. It also sounds like Brian contributed almost nothing to Flash because Mick and he do mention he played soprano sax on Child of the Moon but is silent as to any contribution on Fla

Spanish A Minor is a great track. He should have stayed in the band and done instrumental albums with tracks like this on the side.Maybe a track like this , Mick and Keith might have worked on it , added lyrics and editing to it, and released it on a Stones album

Quotedmay "He was absolutely the best guitar player of his generation...." A nice read about Michael Bloomfield. The Paul Butterfield Blues Band album, East-West, with Bloomfield on lead guitar is so good. Also check out the album Fathers And Sons album with Bloomfield working with Muddy Waters for a great blues session. Such a shame the man's demons took him too soon. &q

Spanish A Minor is certainly worthy of being on a top 15 album.Better than songs Short and Curlies, Indian Girl and Hey Negrita and much of the rest of the bands solo output.
