Quotematxil QuoteMonkeyMan2000 I wonder whose idea it was to put overdrive on Keith's bass. This, I think, is what gives the bassline and also the whole instrumental a lot of character past the obvious Stones by the numbers riff. With my band in the studio, we sometimes use overdrive on the bass part to hide some inaccuracies, so that less editing needs to be done and it can sound intededly

Don't want to think too far past Hackney Diamonds already, but I can't help but wonder if we might get to hear the tracks that have been recorded between 2012 and 2019 with Charlie quite quickly, be it in the form of a yet another album or something else.

Please, people, keep politics out of this. Everyone here has the right to express what they like and what they don't like about the video and how they would put it into context. Many have tried to do so respectfully. Others only see ideology. We can talk about this video without turning it into a stupid wokeness-debate, calling people names or questioning their ability to think for themselve

HA! Finally, I found out what the vocal production and arrangement in the chorus of Angry reminds me of with all the consonant-aligned doublings and falsettos So by trying to have contemporary production, it ended up sounded like pop rock that was in the mainstream 11 years ago hahaha. It's a shame, because I like the instrumental and the performance both by the band and Mick. The

Will the running time be the same on the different vinyl singles? It's always fun in the beginning to find out where the different versions of the tune can be found. Like with Scarlet, LIAGT etc.

Quotekid killowatt QuoteMonkeyMan2000 So Rolling Stone Blues is not with Charlie? Can we thus rule out that this is a Blue & Lonesome outtake? Rolling Stone Blues.....According to Keith, Andrew Watt took a 1920's guitar to Henson studios and "pushed" them to do a song "related to the band's name" Thanks, that sounds fun! By the way, anyone else hoping for an appearance of either Mick or Keith on the "Conan O'Brien needs a friend" podcast? Macca did it too. They belong to the best interviews with stars out there, at the moment. Conan has the same musical knowledge as Fallon but a more stable ego, which leads to great conversations.

Was really beautiful to see them together yesterday. But I'm really starting to worry about Ronnie. Especially comparing to Mick and Keith, it seems as if you can see the mental processing in his eyes when he's asked a question. Of course, he's been through a lot and we're just happy that at least the three of them are still alive. But it's still making me sad somehow.
