QuoteHairball You never know, but I wouldn't be surprised as the source in the Sun article also said "Mick has an enormous guest list of more than 300 people"....that's alot of guest spots to fill! 300 people isn’t that many. Just with all of Mick’s exes, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, that’s gotta be at least 30 people right there. But on a serious no

Since the very first time I heard this song, I have loved it. So haunting and melancholy. I love the way the horns softly cry, not overwhelming the song, complementing the piano and guitar. Mick’s voice is so soulful. The backing vocals are so perfect. I float in the water of this song, pulled along by its currents. Probably my favorite song on Exile. But it is hard to pick a favorite song on Exi

Saw Neil Young at the Rady Shell in San Diego last night. This venue, designed for the San Diego Symphony, opened just two years ago. This was my first concert there. It is a truly lovely venue with the harbor and sunset to the left and the city skyline to the right. I look forward to seeing more concerts there in the future. Really stunning venue. As for Neil, it really is a solo tour. Only

Just got my tix for San Diego. A stress-free purchase because I don’t need to be up front for Neil. I just want to listen to his glorious music. Wish the Stones would do this too: Important event info. To give fans the best chance to buy tickets at face value, the artist has requested tickets to this event be mobile only and restricted from transfer. If you purchase a ticket and can’t atte

QuoteWelshEdge1 Dynamic pricing has got really bad in the USA. I remember PIT tickets were dynamically priced in the USA in 2019 but I managed to get a PIT ticket for face value, $499, in like March 2019. Lucky dips are probably best in secondary markets. Don't go for them in major markets like NY/LA because they'll mostly be nosebleeds, like mine were. WelshEdge is correct tha

QuoteProfessorWolf are you in the us? if so ask if your library is part of the inter library loan program because they just accepted my request and are shipping the book to my local library from a library somewhere in the us and if it works for me it might work for you I am in San Diego. The LA library has it. I will check into that. Thx

QuoteProfessorWolf QuoteJadedFaded I never read Jerry Hall’s Tall Tales. I’d like to out of curiosity, but it’s out of print and used copies for sale are too expensive. I don’t know why the publisher doesn’t re-release it as an ebook. That wouldn’t be costly to do and I’m sure they’d sell a few copies. you could try your local library and if they don't have it maybe they could get from

QuoteMisterO This is the book that started it all for me. It had Stones songs sheet music in the back. This was my first Stones book too. I remember seeing it in a bookstore but not having enough money to buy it and talking the bookstore owner into selling it to me for the cash I had with me. My copy is also a bit dog-eared.

It’s a good question, why there isn’t a Stones channel on Sirius. When I bought my last car, it came with free Sirius for a month or two. So I checked it out and realized there were dozens of channels that held absolutely zero interest for me. I was surprised there was no Stones channel. I gravitated to classic rock and blues. The first day listening to classic rock they played Aqualung, Jethro T

I’m not going to buy a lottery ticket, but someone asked me what I would do if I won that much money, and the first thing that came to mind was a private Stones show. Would be sweet.

Ticket. I love the energy at their concerts. I am not a collector of stuff. I don’t need or want to have every release of every record or box set, mono, whatever. I enjoy listening to all the music I’ve already got, but a live show is just so much fun. I love seeing all the fans and meeting up with friends I’ve made at concerts over the decades. A Stones concert is a very special and unmatched ex

I can’t see them ever doing a Las Vegas residency. I can’t imagine them wanting to spend more than a few days there, much less to live there for an extended period. If they continue playing live, they will do more 12-14 show tours. The only question is where.
