Hairball--from what I understand the Stones have literally nothing to do with ticket prices. They get a fee to perform and the venue sets the ticket prices. Plus, shouldn't whomever sets the prices get to charge what the market will bear?

Angee--I hope you are right as I am going but I highly doubt it b/c only 2 days off after Austin and it is 15 years later than that radio city show. Likely not so easy/attractive for them to change things at this stage. I expect a couple of gems but mostly the same set list. Would love to be wrong and get a bunch of different stuff but at those prices I highly doubt it.

It will be interesting to see them with a greatly reduced stage size and I would guess no catwalk. Much less moving around for Mick to do which may keep him fresher during the show. I have been in the pit the last few shows and I could swear Mick mutters "bloody hell" or "fing hell" under his breath after a few of the songs b/c he was so tired.

Kkhoran—nice job mate! I’ll be there as well. I expect a pretty normal setlist and think this is just a normal show for the boys, just a smaller venue that they got paid to do. Plus it’s only 2 days break after the Austin show so I wouldn’t expect a lot of surprises. But it will likely be the last show in the USA for awhile I would guess.

I have gone to a lot of concerts and sporting events and never been successful in finding Uber/Lyft/cab convenient when the event ends. Walking or public transit is the way to go. One option I have used is walk a couple miles to a hotel and get cab or Uber there. Even if have to wait can sit in lobby while waiting. Now I always stay walking distance to the venue. To me it’s worth the extra money

JC—you’re overthinking this my friend. They are playing this venue bc the Hard Rock paid them to, just like they did with Guns and Roses, Metallica and Billy Joel. Most likely a regular show. Maybe a couple of nuggets-hopefully.

Ok I honestly don’t want to be negative nancy and absolutely not looking for a fight but I don’t understand the excitement to have ANY guest appearances with the Stones. And why so excited about Martha Reeves? Yup, I know exactly who she is and understand it’s Detroit and all that and know all about her. Just don’t get why the excitement to have her sing a song with Mick.

Other hotel options are in Aventura like a courtyard and a new Hilton. Since it is Thanksgiving week in Florida I wouldn’t expect the prices to be particularly good. But those hotels are only about 20 minutes from the venue.

The Ft Lauderdale airport hotels are probably the closest hotels besides the Hard Rock itself.

Ft Lauderdale is the closest airport at about 15 minutes from the hard rock venue but miami is only about 30 minutes away and can be significantly cheaper to fly into at times. I suggest checking both.
