Oh, never saw any of those. Seems pretty simple. As long as video screens are good & sound also.

Yes, that's the stage. Saw it tonite. What tour is that from? They have tons of tour shirts, and venue shirts. The San Diego ones are pretty cool, but start at $40. They even have Sticky Fingers clothes for little kids. Get it?

Yep, that's it. Saw them putting that up tonight. They need to scramble as they are behind. Will barely have time for sound check tomorrow afternoon. What tour is that from?

7pm report. No rehearsal or sound check tonight. As some have said they are behind because of rain , etc. will be working all night. Band is not downtown, just Roadies. Stage is decorated in black & gold with neon lights. Ramp into audience looks small to me. I would guess lunchtime sound check tomorrow or 4pm. Gates open 6pm.

Quotelikecats They're not staying in downtown San Diego or the Hotel del Coronado. I'm sorry for being so secretive, I'm just respecting bv's wishes not to post specific information publicly. My source was very excited to tell me and I don't want to cause any trouble on that end either. My original post was in response to speculation that they might drive back and forth f

Quotestraycatuk They were averaging 19 songs with Long versions of Miss You,Sympathy,YCAGWYW and a 15-16 minute Rambler. If they play a 2 hour+ show without the above I would hope for 23 numbers minimum. sc uk I'll bet $100 they don't come close to 23 songs. Hope I'm wrong though!

Quotelikecats I'm having a beer at the Deck and people-watching. Bought a shirt at the merchandise booth. No lines, might as well get it now. I asked security if they could/would tell me if there is going to be a sound check today. I was told that the stage is still going up and sound check is more likely tomorrow. I'm going to hang around for awhile though. Good points.. What I know

So that would make for logistics challenges. Maybe helicopter to/from LA on Saturday and Sunday? I'm flying in from Philly Saturday AM. Looking forward big time. I've attended every US tour opening gig since 19

I'm not sure how many hours ago that stage pic is, but its a long way from ready. Creates more doubt about a rehersal this afternoon. What hotel is the band staying at? If they are close by, Mick & Ronnie might pop over to inspect, and try the sound system. They are very particular about that, and won't want to risk waiting until tomorrow. There will definitely be a sound c

Quotemapz Anything on Stubhub right now is most definitely real. the ones with green "Instant Download" mean the e-tickets are already preloaded into the Stubhub site and if someone buys them, you can print the tickets out within 1-2 minutes of the order. Anything that says "pick-up" is already at the Padres ticket office and as soon as you buy it you can go pick up the ticket

Quotea bigger nut QuoteGfmsoccer I got lucky today at Petco and got the first pics of the new stage, and met the T-Shirt guy, so got to see them all. There are about 20, plus jackets & posters. The booth opens tomorrow morning. I can't figure out how to post pics here or I'd show you. I asked around what hotel they are staying in, but not sure yet. They might have the stag

Ok, now that LA is over, lets focus on San Diego. We will hear for the first time, what they are really going to do on this tour. I would guess only half of those songs last night, will be heard again. Mick doesn't like many slow songs in stadiums, and the covers are out. Although the tribute to BB King was classy. So my friend at Petco park said the "tentative" plan is to

Yes, sound at stadiums is tricky. make sure you are not underneath any overhangs. being in the open, with as much of the stage in front of you as possible. Sounds systems are much better today. The McCartney sound was the best I've heard in a stadium. If the Stones use that, we'll be fine.

Yes, the Periscope idea was promising, but executed very poorly. total waste of time. could have been better. hopefully real fans will use it during the tour, as most have high resolution iPhones & Samsung phones, so videos should be good from each stadium.

Yes, to be fair, about 200 people were able to buy tickets, and a few real hardcore fans were in that bunch, and some casual fans who just got dumb-lucky online. 90% of the crowd was the friends, family, industry insiders and celebrities with models in tow. It's a Hollywood production after all!

We were all wrong, including me. Nobody even was close in predicting that set list. I said 13 songs, they did 16. Because it was a video production for the Sticky Fingers release they had to do the whole album. That wont happen again, as Mick is clearly not a fan of all those slow songs.

Well the reviews are in, and overall it was a great club gig in LA, if you were one of the few to experience it. For all the Mick Taylor minions, I read all the legit reviews and they said the only song he was really missed on was Can't You Hear Me Knocking. His guitar was missed as they focused on Sax & Keyboards last night. Otherwise they did great with Sticky Fingers. So get off

So the lucky few are picking up their tickets at the El Rey, not at the Fonda. So if any extra tickets happen, hard to say which box office. Periscope seems to be streaming brief clips, not long segments, which tells me we're not going to get the whole concert tonight.
