QuoteSomeTorontoGirl Great suggestion - thanks. They tried to blame the venue but, as I pointed out, I don't have a contractual relationship with the venue, I have one with TM. THEY have a relationship with the venue, it is up to TM to make it right with me and follow up with the venue as they see fit. Am still grouchy as all hell about this. TM should know I have endless stamina and pers

QuoteStonedRambler A personality changes and grows over the whole life. I don't know but I still haven't found myself, I have many personalities.. I often noticed that with Mick and he gave me the feeling that I am not alone with that. What about you Treaclefingers? Not to be overly serious on this, but your personality doesn't really change that much, your behaviour does..

QuoteOlly QuotePhilippec74 Tokyo 1995.. Mick says that Live with me is from Exile ! Exactly, and how intriguing that he deliberately offered the audience this piece of misinformation. It does no harm, but it achieves very little either. Do other performers do something similar onstage? Have seen Springsteen get things wrong on stage multiple times (years, albums etc); unlike Mick, I bel

QuoteHearMeKnockin The Rolling Stones will hang it up by releasing as a single the song they perform live last, which will be "Till the Next Goodbye" in Brazil. That's my wish anyway... "Satisfaction" better not be the last one they do live... One thing us guaranteed, pending anyone dying (heaven forbid), their last show will not be in Brazil....if they do plan a fin

This was one of the two shows (along with Nashville) I was on the fence on; both 300+ mile drives and Nashville would have been tough without taking more time off work; However, now it's hear I really wish I was there. Luckily I have two more shows (Milwaukee and Indy); Hope everyone there gets a great show tonight, but yeah, I also hope they save Moonlight Mile for Milwaukee!

Quotetreaclefingers QuoteSomeTorontoGirl Bonnie Raitt was excellent in Vancouver. But be careful what you wish for - we'd likely get Lady Gaga. Apropos "No we don't" it could hardly be worse than sitting thru Kid Rock. Just sayin'. yes, she was good! I actually thought Bonnie Raitt was pretty dull supporting the Stones at Dodger Stadium; that said, I'd love t

Quotemarcovandereijk One can go on for ever of course with examples like these. Just from top of my head: Ben E King (Stand by me) vs Police (Every breath you take) Stones (Miss you) vs Rod Stewart (Da ya think I'm sexy) Gloria Gaynor (I will survive) vs Robbie Williams (Love supreme) Williams (and Guy Chambers) specifically wrote the song around the sample and the songwriters of I Wi

Quotetnhybrid Downtown parking options for people who'd like to avoid the mess at LP Field (it can take forever to get out of there. If you have a parking pass, you should park near one of the exits if you can.) FYI for out of towners: There's a pedestrian bridge located right in front of the Schermerhorn Symphony Hall that dumps out into one of the parking lots at LP. If thin

Quotestones2000 Quoteumakmehrd Seattle or Vancouver - PLEASE.... just one more time !! Oh man I sure hope so! I wonder if Victoria would be a realistic possibility? The Save On Foods Memorial Centre can hold about 9,000 for concerts. Is that way too small for a Stones arena show? 9,000 doesn't make sense unless you can get $500 AVERAGE ticket price... which isn't going to happen in

As much as I dislike Rascall Flats, booing anyone off stage is a dick move for a music fan.... Don't forget all those Stones fans booing Prince in 1981 were all out buying Purple Rain just 3 years later....

QuoteFrom4tilLate Hi everybody, Some of you might know me. I lurk here a lot. I was in a rather horrendous car crash on Friday in Kentucky on my way to a gig, and I have a cracked pelvis and a lot of bruises and other damage. I have tickets to take my son to see the Stones in Nashville (where I live) this wednesday. Does anyone know about wheelchair access or how to get it? I've never had

Truly one of the great; I posted this on FB this morning, thought I'd share here. The word "Legend" is thrown about far too easily these days, especially in the entertainment industry...but this week we have lost a genuine Legend of the screen. Sir Christopher Lee has passed away aged 93. Lee's career may well be unparalleled; After serving in the RAF (and teh precursor

Again, have 2 to 3 other bands play before the Stones, and make a day out of it. Why open the gates at 1pm????? in all fairness, the best way to drive sales with a support band is to find one that appeals partially to a different demograph
