QuoteBluzDude Quotetimmyj3 bluzdude Do you like the show? Pretty much, its light and not really the way things are in that world, in large part...but the subject matter keeps me watching. I would have rather seen Vinyl been given a second season. agree with this 100% loved Vinyl, so much more accurate to it's world than Roadies has been.

Quotesoulrob Let's not be so U.S. centric. Try New York, LA, Toronto and London! Chicago is not nearly the size of Toronto or London and they have much more history in both those cities While Chicago isn't as big as London, by any metric it's a bigger city than Toronto; City population ; Chicago 2.7 million Toronto 2.6 million Metro area Population ; Chicago 9.7 mil

QuoteTKinOH Checked Wiki and it says Springsteen did 10 shows at Giants Stadium in 2003, but there were 7 gigs initially and then 3 more later in the tour... Count the 3 shows he did at Shea Stadium in Queens later, and that's an impressive run through NY/NJ. And that's not counting the arena shows he did in the area on that tour. This is correct; 10 shows at Giants Stadium in Jul

Nice that they are still doing Lucky Dip; That's the way I did all my 2013 shows. That you can get in the door for $39.50 in an arena is an incredible deal for the Stones.

Quotemr_dja Quote5strings I'm saddly disapointed by the fact that the Rolling Stones don't play even one song of David Bowie in their new Olé Tour 2016. Why such a thing !! Which song of theirs would you have them drop to make space for which one of Bowies? Peace, Mr DJA well they would kill on Rebel Rebel obviously; and would anyone miss "Miss You"???

Great band, very, very underrated as their hit singles were really not representative of the band as a whole; Saw them live in the late 80s and early 90s and again on the farewell tour 5 or 6 years ago; really strong live. If anyone wants to check out an album, their 2nd album 'Scoundrel Days' is excellent.

Excited about this, I love the Steel Wheels/Urban Jungle era; Not really a surprise we're getting the stuff that originally came out as download only and the release schedule means they aren't trying to hold anything back which suggests they have plenty more stuff to come...

U2 use some backing tapes no different to 90% of major bands these days (The Stones, Bon Jovi, Foo Fighters etc etc) Obviously the bulk of the performance is live, the vocals, drums, guitars etc just like The Stones. This tour has been outstanding so far; I have to say I was surprised about hearing about sound issues; the shows I saw in Chicago were GA and the sound was great.

These numbers are interesting and certainly give a good idea of where the Stones fan base is; That Dallas number is pretty poor when you consider they didn't play anywhere else in Texas; especially when compared to the Indy & Columbus numbers. I'm thinking that may be the last show they ever play in TX.

Quoteindystonesfan Agree with Olly on this one. If they come back to the States it'll be a focus on major markets and the Western cities. Perhaps even a stage change to smaller venue set-up and hit San Francisco, Seattle, Reno, Denver, Calgary, Vancouver, Edmonton, etc... locations like Reno, Calgary don't have the venues nor could charge the ticket prices needed to meet Stones gu

Portland just isn't a big enough market; I did expect them to touch Seattle or Vancouver but as others said above, that show looks like it went to SD. I'd be surprised if there isn't a PNW show next go round, but it will only be one and probably in Vancouver Re Seattle; I hear Key Arena sucks and nobody wants to play it anymore..?

QuoteDeeGee Hi guys, I was wondering why there are no soundboard boots of the >2012 shows available. Are the sound engineers not corrupt anymore? whants wrong? Any insides ? ideas ? Cheerio, DeeGee Assume you are talking about IEM recordings; we haven't had a true soundboard in years. I would certainly imagine IEM's are being captured....

QuoteBrstonesfan Only 50k-55k..again Indiana did not sell well for the Stones. Better than 47k at texas Motor Speedway in 97 which had much better opening acts.... And yet it was what, the 2nd largest crowd of the tour so far? Hell, they sold more tickets in Indy than in Dallas.....

Huge fan; Brilliant songwriter and his partnership with Hal David was immense and hugely influential; It is possible however (and I am not taking ANYTHING from BB here) that Hal David doesn't get the credit he deserves; Alongside his fantastic work with BB David also wrote the lyrics to two of my favourite James Bond themes; "We Have All The Time In The World" from OHMSS and &q

Quote24FPS A story in the Indy Star is reporting the attendance as 50,000. Could that possibly be true? After all the hype and the huge venue, only 50,000 showed up? The photos appear to show a bigger crowd than that, but they're all on a flat surface so maybe it's true. It seems that they had to have had more than 50,000. How else could you justify not having the event in Lucas Oil Fie

Unless, I'm misssing something or Dean was being sarcastic, I thought it was quite obvious. Me, sarcastic? I have subsequently been told that it's a tradition for Indy 500 winners to drink milk. Which would explain why Mick said, "A

I was at the front to the Silver section; thought it was an overall strong show tonight; Definitely not as good as Milwaukee, probably level with Columbus; Other friends there thought it was better than Pittsburgh and another said it was on a level with Nashville. Hated the venue; the crowd was ok where I was but sounds like it may not have been so good in other areas.
