Ok, so new to this thread. We are driving out from San Diego day of show. Found a reasonable hotel in Goodyear. Buying a parking pass at stadium. Parking opens at 4:30, am wondering how to beat heat while waiting to get into venue. Anyone have experience at this venue? Are there cooling areas? Maybe hang out at Westfield mall nearby?

I thought the process for handing out tickets at Santa Clara was a little fishy. Why write our names on envelope? I actually didn't see our envelope get taken off the pile. The 2 guys who we hung out with all day got Pits, while we got obstructed view. We were not happy. Our section 119 was almost all LDs. We decided not to put hope in LDs for Glendale and sprung for Ronnie side Pits.

A huge thank you to Woz for last night's tip on Santa Clara date! We were able to get a good price at Hyatt across street from Levi Stadium. And secured a reservation at Residence Inn up the street from Parson's parking lot this morning. May make a last minute decision on Glendale if Lucky Dips pop up.

On another train of thought... there are different bag requirements for the different stadiums. Clear 12"x6"x12" bags, purses, messenger bags, sometimes backpacks are ok, sometimes not. Plenty of options on amazon. Any recommendations or thoughts?

Made hotel reservations for Pasadena and Santa Clara hotels today, waiting until after official news today to make plane reservations from San Diego to San Jose. Hoping that there will be a shuttle for Rose Bowl from Pasadena as rumored. Would be fun to get together with other IORRs beforehand.
