The way, Keith connects Mick´s lines in the verses with his chords and licks: just great! The chorus makes me think of EMOTIONAL RESCUE, the song. It has a natural flow and directly hits my spine. Quotebobo A Bigger Bang is nowhere close to the new album. But then again, many on this forum seems to live in the past, mostly three to five decades backwards. Thankfully Rolling Stones adapts and evolve as time goes by. Someone had to say it.

What's far more difficult IMHO is the question "Bridges to Babylon vs Hackney Diamonds". I'd go for Hackney here at the moment, but surely some time needs to pass before you definitely can say how they compare

To me the difference in quality between the two albums is so extreme that the question "A Bigger Bang vs Hackney Diamonds" feels like "Undercover vs Exile". I won't even bother discussing this...

Quotejahisnotdead Perhaps the Jordan vs. Watts approach deserves its own thread. It's an interesting subject. From what I see, on the album credits Don Was is credited with producing the drums on Live By The Sword. So, if everything else was re-recorded, isn't it by definition Keith Richards following Charlie Watts instead of the inverse? Unless there's some studio trickery involve

QuotePaintMonkeyManBlack Quotekeefriffhards A more honest down to earth review from a guy who actually knows this band/music and their potential. laughable on a lot of levels. I hate how some people call negative opinions "honest" which consequently says that all positive opinions are not honest. Some people just like to spread hate and that has nothing to do with honesty.

Quotesundevil That was awesome. This really shows the rolling stones need to stay small from this point forward. Thanks to social media, 4K camera and Dolby Atmos sound, they can now turn your living room into a small club. Hampton Roads was a pay-per-view, future club shows could be as well. They were super prepared for this show and it's great how fulfilling it is. With Charlie gone, now i

QuoteSpodlumt Mick on the Jimmy Fallon show was incredibly hard to watch. It was so unfunny and Mick was stilted in the delivery of his lines. Awful. I can't believe Mick agreed to do that crap. Well, humour's not the same for everyone. I thought it was hilarious.

I think what you also need to consider is that young people don't go to the record store and buy an album in a physical format. And the few who buy Vinyl will also order it on the internet. Of course that doesn't change the fact that the Stones fan base is more on the older side but those photos of record stores will show old people only for the reasons just mentioned. As for the

QuoteMonkeyMan2000 Chanel did great on Gimme Shelter in Milan last year. But from what I can tell from the videos of the Racket show I saw, she didn't blend in well with Mick at all. The phrasing is off. Bernard really mastered the way of singing the harmonies by Keith and Mick while also giving Mick something to fall back on in a case of emergency.
