QuotePaintMonkeyManBlack They play for 50.000. Not for me. And 48.000 want to hear all the warhorses. Could be worse even if they played Brown Sugar, Angie, IORR every night instead of the 'rare' ones. Crowd would love it. For me I am happy. I only wished they would have 1 or 2 rotation songs in the 2nd part. Just like they used to have on the B stage. Keeps the excitment alive. The

QuoteGerardHennessy QuoteStoneage As it is now I consider the gig done after song 8. I would be more than happy to leave the gig then if I could get some money back by returning the ticket or selling it to someone outside. The warhorse bonanza I could do without. Totally agree. Whatever hope there is - and it is pretty limited hope at that - it is for some modicum of variety during the first

QuoteStonesfan2146 Stage the same height as Munich. Not true, Munich was much lower (the height of the bottom frames). This is actually the first time this tour the top and bottom frames have about the same height. And it looks more proportional that way IMHO.

Quoteslewan QuoteBjorn Hamburg 2017...it was that long because they played every song in slow motion... they played 22 songs at that show Also true, but still they played everything super slow. Might have added a few more minutes to the already longer setlist.

This is the first time this tour the stage height (I mean the height of the frames) looks just right. Not the super-high version we got in Amsterdam and Madrid but also not the low version we got in Munich and Brussels. Looks much better that way! (But probably gonna be different again next concerts as it depends on the height of the pre-build stage roof)

Quotewaterrats QuoteNashvilleBlues QuoteStonedRambler Guys, for tonight please no spoilers again please. Thanks. Tell Sasha and Ronnie. Aren’t their accounts the ones that most often leak the setlists? I think, this forum is not the Internet - it's only a small (but very nice) part. If you're looking for the setlist for tonight's show - you have the whole Internet to look for

Quoteexilestones Quoteslewan Let It Bleed Wild Horses Dead Flowers Sweet Virginia are they running out of ideas? All these songs have already been in the song vote and three of them have already been performed on this tour… (see: ) It looks like they're playing it safe with songs they know well. The Stones know and I've noticed the well-known songs work well in a stadium.

I have no idea who Henry Winkler is and neither who "the Fonz" is. Probably Mick didn't have either and just wanted his privacy.

Judging from videos, I also thought that Brussels was better than Amsterdam (especially Keith seemed more vital and energetic), but Amsterdam wasn't such a lackluster concert that some people here claim it to be. QuoteEasterMan Complaining about setlist spoilers for Stones shows nowadays is a bit silly. It's the same setlist every night anyway with a couple of songs switched out. It's about enjoying the performance, not the setlist. That's the point. Then why not letting people look forward to be suprised by those 2-3 songs?

Quoteslewan I voted for Far Away Eyes since it's the only song out of these four that I have never heard before And even if the song is silly it's surely a lot of fun!

Quotepowerage78 QuoteStonedRambler But criticizing that Keith doesn't do his old moves anymore when he hasn't done them for like fifeteen years lets it seem like the author is just totally uninformed and compares the Stones to what they have been thirty years ago. It's like going to a Phil Collins concert these days and criticizing that he doesn't jump around anymore and sits

Quotepowerage78 Yes any sound... And guitar sound ? He did the acoustic guitar on Satisfaction when I saw them on the No Filter tour, don't know if he still does, at least I couldn't hear it anymore in Munich.

Also keep in mind that Wiltern is mixed by Sam Wheat so it might sound inferiour to any recording you compare it to (especially those mixed by Clearmountain). (Although the Wiltern mix is actually quite decent compared to other Wheat mixes).

QuoteMadMax Ampeg and then Mesa Boogies compared to latter day Twin Reverbs, Vibrolux and Ohahu amps...? I personally love the 02-03 "FENDER DRENCHED" sound from Keith. The Navarro handled live sound of 05/06/07 was less interesting for me. Can't have too much twang!!!!! Yes, the main difference here in sound (and what I think the thread creator refers to) is the guitar amp

Quotedaspyknows Quotekeefriffhards QuoteEasterMan I look at Ronnie's solos as if he's creating a small piece of art every time. He always comes up with something new and interesting even if it's not always great. He could play the same well rehearsed note for note solo every night if he wanted to, but that's not his style. Go and listen to Kiss if you want that kind of playing

QuoteNilsHolgersson I really enjoyed the show yesterday, wow they played it f*cking loud, my ears are still ringing, don't know if thats normal, its my first Stones show since A Bigger Bang 2007. Had the same experience in Munich where I have been in the stands. Must have been the loudest Stones show I've ever been too (actually only the second half, the first half was almost too quiet)

QuoteThe Worst. Palace Revolution: You probably watched this clip, made by the Metropolitan Museum when Micawber was displayed there back in 2019: "In fact we are electromagnetic, that's what makes us think" Well, biology seems not his strength, but don't tell him! Don't destroy the mystery for him

Sure, but that isn't something that started yesterday. Promoters always have squeezed everything possible out of ticket prices. Actually Hyde Park was one of the cheapest gigs where you could get to first row with a 250 pounds GC ticket.

QuoteThe Worst. The easiest way to tell the difference straight away is that Micawber is missing that black dot on the 17th fret. A bit difficult to see at a concert maybe, but Malcolm has these wood lines moving along the body that are easily recognized on big screens. About the differences in sound: Keith used Micawber for "Struggle" on that TV show with Thom Hanks in 1988. The so

And what's so special about Micawber as opposed to Malcom? I mean it's basically the same guitar, one locking a bit more fckd up Also Malcom with 5 bridge string holders is easier to intonate than Micawber with only three
