Just got back to the states and the only show I can catch this time is KC. Hope to meet some IORRs! Got Section B row 8 for $350 last week, and bought some Lucky Dips to bring my sister & neice to their first Stones show. Anybody hear about the all-night jam sessions Friday & Sat night at the Musicians Foundation? There are some great musicians from KC: And KC was a crazy pl

Thanks you iorrers for really great reporting, pics and videos. Wow! I can feel the energy. And yes respectful of the band members, but would have been great for them to get up and jam too. Doesn't Ronnie's guitar tech also play with Tim in the RS project? Thanks again.

Quotestones2000 QuoteTonyz I hate when kids need validation for listening to classic rock. If you're referring to me... It was just because I know that a lot of guys my age wouldn't be into the Stones or any music older than about 2005 for example. I wanted to make sure that, because of my age, I wouldn't lose any respect as a Stones fanatic. I know I'm the youngest here, an

Why not? They aren't here just for their health. They are hustling to get that payday doing what they love, and what we love them to do. At the tour press-conferences they are more open, but this was just a pre-recorded video, probably done because of the screw up with the first planned announcement. A fan here.

Quotedmay Oh my. My comment regarding a hologram of BJ was said with tongue in cheek. I would hope the Stones won't do anything like that. I do think for this tour the Stones will do the s-o-s they've gotten away with for years and think it's still hip to invite younger performers to do a number or two with them. I think it would be much cooler for the Stones to invite some of the

What Bill Wyman added to the Stones sound was so interesting and different. There is no bass player like him. He's got great taste. And his house in France is for sale here:

Quotebv I wish I had an e-mail service to alert all IORR members, I probably do, but I need to look into it. Meanwhile, just visit IORR on a regular basis, Thanks for the thought BV, but I'm glad we get to navigate back here and wade through the crowd to see if there is anything happening yet. It's like scoring dope on the street vs having it delivered. It's Only Rock N' Rol

Quotekammpberg ...I find people very defensive on this website but I can't help be disappointed with The Stones over the last 15 years or so. I'm jeolous how Springsteen and U2 will still release excellent albums consistently and then tour the albums and play the new stuff and rare stuff and their fans love it... I wish they would release more new stuff too. And play more rarities. I

Keith tends to say these callous things, and doesn't do a great job of being PC about it. I mean that's one of his Keef qualities, he isn't always there verbally, like saying "it's good to be here..." 1000 times, he's not really opening up about what he is thinking at the moment. Except through his guitar, where he plays exactly what he is feeling... And he is

I really doubt the Stones will be on the Vegas Rock in Rio shows. Looks like Tickets are already selling, so contracts are already drawn up to pay some very expensive acts. Why would the Promoter pay $$$ to add the Stones? I am hoping, but not feeling this one.

Saw Lisa's show last summer at the Catalina Club in Los Angeles. She was really so incredible, I (and much of the audience) was in tears of joy. and her band Gran Baton did fantastically original renditions of some Stones songs. Bernard, and 3 superstar singers joined her for Wild Horses. If you get a chance to see her, please do yourself a favor.

Just caught Lisa Fisher with her band Gran Baton in Hollywood this week. They put on a great show! Along with a great set she performed 3 Stones songs, IORR, Gimmie Shelter and closed the night with Wild Horses with Bernard Fowler and 4 incredible backing vocalists who all got up from the audience to join her. The musical style was avant-jazzy, edgy, and very original and powerful. Similar to
