QuoteTumblinDice76 Voodoo13-Put me down as a Fly on the Wall fan too! Back in Business, Playing with Girls, and Stand Up are some of the best deep cuts from the Brian era. Flick of the Switch is what it is and I totally understand why they went in that direction as to not get mixed up with all the Hair Meatl bands in 83. I think Blow up Your Video is their biggest dud. AC/DC FLY ON THE WALL TOU

Quotetreaclefingers Quotepowerage78 What about Billboard charts this week ? #13 overall, #2 physical sales. By that, I think you could extrapolate they would probably have had a number 1 in the US if only they were able to ship all the pre-orders. I'm getting notifications just now that my orders are shipping. WEEK 3! Thanks.

The Beatles’ ‘Now and Then’ Heading For U.K. No. 1 "Now And Then" is outselling the rest of the top 5 combined, the Official Charts Company reports. “Now And Then” actually debuted at No. 42 in the U.K. last week based on just 10 hours of sales, but is now expected to jump 41 places to the top of the Official Singles Chart when chart is published this Friday, Nov. 10. QuotePaintMonkeyManBlack Quotepowerage78 I can't wait to read about all HD's - now non-existent - weaknesses when the next album comes out, as this will justify why the new album is better. As with ABB, which was yet the album of the century at the time. It wasnt Of course it was. The ever-improving syndrome needs to be nurtured (better, best...). Record now with HD concerts soon.

Quotetreaclefingers QuoteStoneage Mess It Up has got radio time now. Maybe it's the third single? Anyway, the Lady Gaga soul number is still number one for me. I have noticed another thing though: There is no obvious hit single on it. But by now it doesn't matter I guess. There are too few tours left to make it warhorse status anyway. Unfortunately at this point I think the Rolling

Great SSOH live version, any overdubs in your opinion ? Lady Gaga's performance is exceptional, and there's no doubt that others can do it very well, but to erase this version or the studio version, no !

Definitely a good album, full of energy and desire, which for me is the most important thing. Contagious enthusiasm, I'd say. We're in 2023, and we're talking about a new Stones album. It's pretty incredible all the same. How it will age and fit into the band's discography, we'll see. In a good place, I think.

Quotegeorgelicks QuoteDoxa Quotegeorgelicks Final US sales predictions are in, it looks like the album will sell more in the UK this week... Interestingly, the trend of BLUE & LONESOME seem to continue here - the album selling about the same amount of copies in UK and US market despite the latter being five times bigger or something. For decades - especially during the 70's - the St

QuoteIdorh According to Woody, these 12 from Hackney Diamonds are not even the best songs of the 23 recorded during the sessions. That bodes well, delightful enjoyment in my old age. So it's safe to say that the next album (IS) will be better than HD. That's great. Nothing changes. Thanks Ronnie. The Stones are great. Seriously...

QuoteDoxa And oh yeah, I also agree that the weak link in otherwise great "Rolling Stone Blues" is, surprisingly, Mick's vocals. I think he holds his horses a bit there, I would have expected a stronger performance (based on what he, for example, does on BLUE & LONESOME). - Doxa Here, Mick and "I'm trying a bit too hard" on many occasions on HD find their

QuoteDandelionPowderman Angry Very catchy tune. Well-played, well-performed. Nice touch with the extra part in the chorus. Very clever move to take it down in the middle and to make a post-chorus toward the end. 8/10 Get Close: I like the sound of it as well as the vibe. Keith's phaser contributes a lot to that. It is a little disturbing to hear the melody of Too Far Gone in the fir

As is often well pointed out here, the Stones' fan base has not renewed itself as much as other bands (Spotify statistics, subscribers on Instagram...).
