Glad you like the pic, exilestones. Just found a couple of my '81 photo print scans on an old USB (not primo quality but not too bad). I'll look into photo hosting options and post when I can *edited to update

I'm a MONKAAAAAAAY MAN! Last heard it live on the VL tour in '94 - KILLER! Getting goosebumps just thinking about it. I voted via app but couldn't find the song vote page on the rollingstones.com website. Is it possible to vote there as well? I wanna stack the deck

Very cool photo, Nicos. Thanks for posting it. Everyone looks so happy & relaxed. At first glance, I mistook Paul Varley for Mick - very similar hair & shades. How did you come to take the pic? Would love to hear the story behind it.

Exilestones, many thanks for your ongoing contributions to this fabulous thread of yours! I'm amazed that you continue to unearth such photographic gems and interesting reports from the 81-2 era. You rock! Also, big kudos to Grison (I know I've seen that member name on this board) for taking all of those spectacular, super close-up '82 live shots - love 'em

For Ronnie Wood Art Lovers: I have 2 (possibly 3) art works by Ronnie Wood that I want to sell soon. They're currently stored in Rhode Island. I'm presently nowhere near RI, so I can't provide photos now, but I'll be going next week and will post pics shortly after my arrival. All 3 works were purchased at the San Francisco Art Exchange in the late 1980s. I plan to contact

Re: ^^^ Melanie Hamrick did an interview when her son was 6 months old, w/ Marie Claire magazine, dated June of 2017. Link: . Based on her quotes in that article, as far as Mel knew, she & Mick were still a couple at that time. This was a "legit" interview. Marie Claire is a respected publication, not a rag. I don't think Mel would refer to Mick as her boyfriend if they had

Regarding the Paris Gargoyle poster, a couple of people asked about obtaining a print of it on his instagram page and he replied as follows: "Hi, I'm very pleased you like it, but it's just fan art and I cannot make prints of it or distribute it in any way as I'm using logos and resources that are trade marks. I'm really sorry. And thanks again for the compliment.&quo

IMO, the unofficial "fan art" Paris gargoyle design is, by far, the best of the tour. I'd love to buy one. Big thumbs up to artist JM Campoy . My second favorite is a very cool fan art design for Lucca. Much better than the Bravado Lucca offering. Too bad TPTB didn't consider producing the best of the fan art designs .

Hi Steffialicia, I have not been in the pit, but I know from experience that, even if you are very close to the stage, any height advantage you can give yourself can mean the difference between a good view and a poor one (and a poor view can put a damper on your good time). I suggest wearing flats for walking and bringing a pair of high heels in your bag to put on right before the show. Find som

Quotechatoyancy Mick knew that the woman who inspired the song was in the audience. She's unknown to practically everyone. Kept it a secret all these years. Yep, "She" was present at the Arnhem gig (a beauty indeed, looking remarkably well-preserved ) BTW, I thoroughly dug the performance of SSC - it ROCKED and got me dancing around the room!

I think it's possible that the Stones are rehearsing at British Grove Studios in London (where they recorded Blue & Lonesome). According to something I read online, The Who rehearsed there for one of their tours, so I assume the complex includes rehearsal space.

Here is Keith's video followed by The Killer & friends closing the show with "Whole Lotta Shakin'". Love Jerry Lee - his voice still sounds strong & he's rockin' that piano. I was grinning from ear-to-ear & dancing in my chair as I watched/listened . Bravo, Jerry Lee!
