Quoteopen-g How long's this brexit thing been going on? ok, let's just say four years, bc easier calculation. So seventy years long, no one batted an eye about her nationality status. but now it's: Show me your Papers! yeah, reminds me of where that's going You missed the point. Central to many of the comments here is the fact that the question of UK residence

On the substance... As others have pointed out, she had 74 yrs or so to sort this out. Plus, as folk in the UK are well aware, Brexit brought this sort of issue very much to the forefront with regards to UK residents living overseas, and/or non-UK citizens living in the UK. So it's not as if it's some highly nuanced rarely publicised quirk of migration laws. Yes, it's a cr

Reality check... This entire latest speculation can be traced back to ONE report in the UK Sun newspaper. A rag sheet tabloid not unlike the Daily Mail. Everyone seems to hope that the 'recording with the Stones' bit was true, and that the 'flying to LA' was improbable. Only time will tell if any of it was true after all.

Quotetommyturbo76 - Bill Wyman's logging pretty much required using early word processors... It may be wise to separate this part of Bill's interest from the other list. It's BILL it's not The Stones. Bill has been at the forefront of using personal desktop computers and claims to have been among the very earliest adopters of Apple computers in the UK. Oddly, his st

Quoteleteyer Is this immersive experience only happening in France? 360° view……Tickets are expensive at 70 euro. I think that looks really interesting. Did anyone who went to Hyde Park notice any 'special' filming. 70 Euro may be a lot of money ... but it's less than a decent concert ticket, and as these chaps are not touring at the moment..... I'd go if it was

Fun Fact 1: When brother (now Sir) Michael first took up with Jerry Hall she was Bryan Ferry's then girlfriend. Bryan, of course, being Roxy Music's singer. Fun Fact 2: I once bumped into Bryan Ferry in an off licence in England. My claim to fame!

QuoteHairball QuoteIrix 13-Jun-2023: Paul McCartney said on BBC Radio 4 that 'new technology' has enabled a 'final' Beatles song which will be released in 2023. The technology had been used to 'extricate' John Lennon's voice from an old demo so he could complete the song. "We just finished it up and it'll be released this year," he explained.

The Stones cut theirs in October 7). As some sources state Paul and John finished the song in the front of amazed Stones watching in Richmond, but I wonder what actually is the origin of that claim, or how finish

The Beatles had 2 Xmas residencies in London in early 60'a. One compered by Jimmy Saville, the other by Rolf Harris. Both later found d to be child sex offenders. Rolf's death in the last few days means that both are history. Unfortunatel coincidence.

Quotenorthof49 Isn't this footage from the Goddard movie 'One plus One'? Maybe it is, haven't seen 'One plus One'. Methinks it is. YouTube search is your friend. Youtube seems to allow users to post content without real credit. (not iorr user northof49!) The DVD copy of this movie I have has a menu choice that allows play of just the Stones scenes. Thus

Really quite intimate - very interesting to get a peak at the sort of things that DON'T make the final version. Apologies if already posted. Isn't this footage from the Goddard mov

QuoteRockman Yeh, I too found those same agency photo's. If they had ALL been there, then there more than likely would have been a photo of more than just Jagger. Next thing we can expect to read in Tatler will be that The Stones are doing a private gig for King Charles the evening before his Coronation! Bad typo in the agency caption! It's "St James' Palace" not

Bert Richards' descendants are a very long way from their roots! Calling West Wittering the "Hamptons of England" is plain bonkers and I suspect may be an invention of the author of the Tatler puff-piece.

QuoteDiamondDog7 Quote24FPS I wonder they've never played Jumping Jack Flash, or Satisfaction for that matter, and Under My Thumb, like their studio versions? The stage production of these songs are too fast, too rock and roll. Satisfaction is usually played like they're trying to get through it fast as possible. There's no jazz swish on UMT like there is on the record between Bria
