Music is always a matter of taste but if I compare how many songs I really like after many listena on A Bigger Bang compared to Hackney Diamonds, the new album wins. For me it's It won't take long Rain Fall down Laugh I nearly died Against Depending on you Live by the Sword Whole wide world Sweet sounds of heaven Mess it up Angry I really hope they will play Liv

I think it's a really good album, I'm glad they put it out. Even friends my age (24) like songs off of it, the most popular ones being Whole Wide World, Live by the Sword and Depending on you, and of course Angry. My favourites are Whole Wide World and Live by the Sword.

Amazing song, that's a great solo! And about time the Stones release a tune with a melody like that!!

Wow this one has a great groove, definitely gives me 70s vibe, at some points Mick's voice even sounds like back in the 70s!! Great tune!!

Do we expect a club gig like at phoenix theatre in 2005 where they play for about an hour, with some new and old tracks? I remember they opened with Rough Justice that time, maybe open with Angry tomorrow? They seem to have had quite a few days of rehearsals? Maybe they are also trying to find out in which shape they are and depending on that they'll play just 3 numbers or a club set.

How can Mick sound sooo good still at 80? His voice is so good still!

I needed a few listens to the new song to see if it would ever get annoying but actually, after a couple dozen of listens it still sounds really good, and I have it in my head now, actually it's a great song! Very catchy! Guitar solo by Keith is also very nice, very minimalistic.

So a small gig with one or two new songs off of the new album and maybe 2 classic stones songs could still be possible in some way? I think them doing a surprise appearance on a famous American TV show or somewhere in NYC would for sure create huge hype around the new album.

Shouldn't there be some rumors about the fall tour at this point if they wanna announce early May, for an early September start?

What mpj said about them not touring without Charlie was what everyone believed back then, including the band, and I think they would have never replaced Charlie if they didn't have a tour coming up and Charlie literally asking Steve to step in. The timing in 2021 is what probably made them try the 2022 tour and all possibly happening further tours at all. If they would have cancelled the

Actually in those pictures Mick looks fantastic! Remember he will turn 80 this year! I think he aged very well.

There are really a lot of songs they used to play as set list regulars for a while which would of course still work in any stadium show that are not the usual warhorses. How about Memory Motel Heartbreaker Rock And A Hard Place Beast Of Burden The Last Time Anybody Seen My Baby Saint Of Me Undercover

I think with 20+ shows and an extension of the tour to Europe in 2024 since they are now following their old pattern it's likely that there's enough budget for a very cool new stage that won't need rented stage frames, more like No Filter, Licks or B2B. Remember they already need two stages since they will do arenas this summer too.

Isn't this soooo exciting? An arena/stadium tour coming up, the first combined venues tour since 2014 which might last 4 months, which means stretching the 15 shows limit! Maybe the longest stretch of shows since 2007. I'm SO ready! I can't wait to fly to the US from Germany again, this time to hear some new music! I've been to 20 shows since my first show in 2014 but ne

I personally love the 1994 version with all the different horn sections added. Way better than 2002 imo. Of course the 1976 versions are awesome too.

I always wondered why a potential 2009/10 tour didn't happen. If you read the IORR news of those years you see that there were rumors about tours from time to time, but some things must have just not worked out. I think they could have had one more 100 show tour in the can if they would have toured in between those years. But of course it made the comeback even more exciting. Maybe the

The 60 stage was just a frame for a Standart stage backdrop, and barely included LEDs or any kind of lighting in the frame. QuoteGasLightStreet Quotebv During 2005-2007 they did half of all the songs of their new album "A Bigger Bang" live. If you want to experience new songs live then you just have to attend more than one show. In 2007 they mostly played ONE NEW SONG (Rough Justice). They tanked out and went HOT ROCKS. Yeah but that was 2 years after the album release and those 1-new-song-shows still

So you are saying they might return to their old touring model just with fewer shows and just doing the major cities? So north America, then Tokyo, a few shows in Australia/NZ and then some in Europe?
