QuoteTestify QuoteGasLightStreet Quotekeefriffhards Start Me Up, just so cool from Keith at the start, and so loud, and does Ronnie read iorr because this solo is a blast, he's playing it with creativity and passion bless his heart. Ronnie's solo is far, very far, from what he's done in the past - when it was good, great or even excellent. SMU Ronnie's solo plays it always

Liam's sneering voice and charisma are vital to Oasis breaking into the bigtime. Nowdays he is more of a boring adult, but still sounds sneering.

QuoteProfessorWolf Quotedaspyknows Sound like an autobiographical song. my thoughts as well still musically better then last year By understanding your own deficiencies you can work on improving. He probably thinks the song is about him, doesn't he?

Quoterobv There is something terribly wrong with Ronnie. That's my main impression from Amsterdam yesterday. He completely messed up his solo's on TD, CYHMK, and more. Nothing terribly wrong, his TD solo was better than usual yesterday, and no big problems on CYHMK. In general Ronnie struggles with the SMU and TD solos, but they are nice when he hits a fitting improvisation. Too much

Quote24FPS Quoteskytrench Quote24FPS My god Bill's timing was impeccable, just not on bass, but knowing when to leave. Well, with leaving in mind, he left 10 years too late. Nothing vital for him after 1982. I guess you've never heard 1986's Harlem Shuffle. He IS Harlem Shuffle. And he does some fine work on Steel Wheels. Plus he picked up enough millions on the Steel/Urban Jun

QuoteHairball Keith was darn good, but it was generally a weak version....especially the sax solo. Bobby is dearly missed especially on tunes like this, as is Charlie...something's just not right....it's almost like a cover band now. Ronnie did ok with his mock-up version of the classic MT solo - better than he did in the past. Ultimately, a shame the tune was abbreviated so mu

QuoteTheflyingDutchman Great find, thanks. However, I cannot recognise Taylor on this recording? He is introduced at 4:40 and takes a slide solo.

QuoteWorriedAboutYouWith Taylor, I find a lot of it masturbatory, lost in his own world and inwardly focussed. He didn't enhance the band as much as Ronnie does. They both add great stuff...maybe MT was more inwardly focussed, but often delivering breathtaking solos, creating fluid themes within songs, off the cuff. I also love Ronnie's rhythmic, physical style, though it is more hit

Yeah, Fool would be my vote too. After the Mocambo release, I want to hear it again in a 2022 version.

Glad to see that whatever Keith is smoking, he's playing good, seems focused and is back in a driving role. Considering the drugs he's been on during acclaimed shows through the decades, we really have no business directing his intake.

QuoteMonkeyMan2000 QuoteDandelionPowderman There were no overdubs on Crazy Mama. Mick plays the the third, open G-guitar, like on the album. I agree about the overdub on WLB, though. It doesn't sound necessary. That guitar line that's so loud and which is also on the studio version is overdubbed for sure. You can still hear Ronnie's lead underneath at 2:11 on the left side. It

QuoteRockman Gotta agree with Mick, recording it the old fashioned way might have improved the album, instead of "we've already got it down" and leaving it as it was. "We ain't going nowhere, pal" - yep, not with that.

QuoteDGA35Hey Skytrench, are you going to all these? I'm going to Alice, ZZ and Rod from this list. Also Killers in late August and Elton again in October. Still on the fence about Motley. Seen all the bands, lots of tickets still available. Just don't know if I want to sit through a 7 hour concert. Unfortunately no, since I live in Europe. Looks like you've got some good sh

QuotetreaclefingersNot sure what will get me out of my rocking chair to rock. I recall you are based in the Vancouver area that was skipped by the Stones due to Covid last year. There are several shows I would consider with ZZ Top and the 80s metal feast on Sept02 as my favourites. Saturday 16 April 2022: Alice Cooper and Buckcherry, Abbotsford Centre, Abbotsford, BC, Canada Saturday 23 A

QuoteTheflyingDutchman He still smokes weed. A nice way to fool yourself. No, weed has a longer lasting and different effect. Unless his stash is low grade, he will be smoking less than before. After decades of smoking, the body does not cope well with sudden abstinence, you'd need sleeping pills, blood control pills, digestive pills, chill out pills, get creative pills and more unhea

Quotematxil Nice, very nice. 999 was good but a bit empty. You Got The Silver and BTMMR were very good. Yes, good job from the Winos. Of the 3 tracks, I thought 999 was best. Great seeing Keith in fine shape!

QuoteNashvilleBlues Variants, people. Who is to say there won't be a more problematic variant in the near future? Look, I love the optimism, but let's be realistic too. This should be in the other thread, but the variants will have a tougher time penetrating populations that have been infected by omicron. Mother nature's own vaccine without the deadly effects of Delta and more un

Thanks for the more precise definitions, since your original statement did not limit to those in ICU or on ventilators. They are predominantly the unvaccinated, with an average age hovering around 60years old. That should be a good incitement for the vulnerable to get their shots. Is there any information if these patients are suffering from Delta or Omicron?
