He sounds awful in recent videos, no doubt about that. Like Keith, he had and incredible and inimitable style, which has been very affected by aging. He hasn't the speed anymore and that's dead for his old rythmn crazyness. But, hey, he has earned the right to do whatever he wants. If people pay for the show, go on Chuck.

If The Stones have to do a new album, I would prefer them doing that kind of Had it with you thing better than most of their strange experiments of 89 - 06. Weak lyrics or not, this is what the Stones are. Look at their faces when they are playing classic rock'n roll or blues music (specially Keith). You can see real happiness there, not the rich and greedy millionares of the 650 dollar tick

Ok, I go first. I think this is a good song. I know that Dirty Work hasn't very good fame. It's a bad album, in fact. But I like this one. Not a masterpiece, but, like the Rolling Stones once said, "It's only rock 'n roll". It has rythmn and harmonica, feeling and joy. Dirty - as the name of the album said - rock and roll.

In fact, I don't think he was really angry about Keith's book. Keith didn't cross the line, in fact he said very nice things about Mick. He didn't say nothing really disturbing. Nothing which wasn't said after, the Cold War and all of that. I mean, Mick Jagger was ... well, you know, sixties, seventies and eighties were very open decades. I Keith probably knows a lot abou

I think he knows that he did things which can't be told now. You know, all the Bowie stuff and etc. Mick never seems proud about his brutal abuse of drugs. He still says that he quit all drugs in early 70'. That's incredible, have you seen him in 75 or 81? He's like the cocaine man in those tours. Maybe we will have Mick's memories in his 90 years old. Who knows.

QuoteBig Al OK, let's compare Ronnie and Keith's differing solo's on It's All Over Now. Here's Ronnie's from one of last years London shows. Solo begins at 01:28 :- And here's Keith from a show on the North American leg. His solo begins at around 01:20 :- Both solos are great. I prefer the Keith one, because it's more similar to the original

Now that some people like to be so hard and critical with Keith Richards, it's good to remember why he was so great and why he deserves respect and indulgence. I mean, apart from Chuck Berry, there isn't better rock 'n roll guitar player than Keith Richards. I don't care if technically he wasn't the greatest, like every hater and wannabe amateur guitar player are alwa

He is 70 years old. He came from nearly two hours of physical request. He doesn't look specially bad for a 70 year old rocker and ex drug addict, but he doesn't look specially great neither. It's so difficult to think that he was extremely tired? Put a random 70 years old man to do the gig, and then tell him that he has to go party. We all know his probably answer. Don't f

Don't be so hard with Keith. He's doing fine. He's an old and punished man. He's always talking about his ressistance and his amazing health, but all of that is bullshit. Time doesn't forgive, even if you are Keith Richards. Specially if you mistreat your body for decades. He's sounding good, at least in 80% of the set list. Yeah, I suffer when I see him playing

Stones impressed me in Glastonbury. They did an amazing show and they deserve recognition for that. Man, they are 70 years old. But we can't fool ourselves. They played better in 81. They had power and skills, speed and ability to put live into the songs. The only one who, maybe, is playing better now than in 81 is Ronnie, in a safe an conservative way. He is doing pretty good shows.

I like Rod but today Mick is in other league. Maybe his voice is not as strong as Rod voice, but he is a superhuman athlete, a charismathic showman and a great harmonica player. If you see Mick dancing and singing, you don't feel embarrassed at all. He has power and attitude. He's the @#$%& Mick Jagger, you know? An incredible old man. You can't say the same about Rod sing

Chuck was the Man. The Man of Rock'n Roll, at least. When I'm sad, I see him playing. He was pure groove and rythmn, he had that happiness in his voice and his guitar. I like this particular show very much. His guitar skills were brilliant, hilarious and amazing. A true icon, we will really miss him when he definitely left this world.

Or maybe the Stones, 650$ ticket, Bill Clinton as buddy of Keef, more a company than a rock a band, father, grandfather and children in the arena and all of that, can't say anymore, as main idea of a song, the word "@#$%&"?

I mean, probably is their best rock'n roll song ever, in the Chuck Berry sense of rock 'n roll, the pure essence of that. It used to sound so good and provocative, agressive, ironic and distintive of The Rolling Stones. But they have been ignored this song, excepting some rare moments, from the last twenty years. Today, in 2013, as the old men they are now, I don't expe

Don't know if Keith really believe what he use to say to the press, or he acts feeding the invencible Keef myth. Anyway, sometimes he sounds irritating. If he admitted his obvious signs of decline, that would be a real proof of manhood. Something like "yeah, I'm not the same, but I can still do pretty well and I still have the taste and the skills to do beatiful music". Bu

Well, we don't have to attack other bands to defend The Stones. 2009. The Quo are powerful, aren't they? They can play instruments and sing at the same time, even! Trully amazing I know, rythmn and complexity of the music is not the same, but we can see such power and feelin in the Stones in recent years. And I wish we could, but reality is reality.

Obviously, I'm not saying that the Quo are better than the Stones. There is no comparation between the legacy of both bands. The Quo are pretty solid, however, and a rough and pure rock and roll band. My point is, if you hear the Quo playing live along the years, there is no big difference in their sound. Is basically the same, without dramatic declines. Parfitt - Rossi guitar skills
