Dwight will be the closer not Lucinda. Dwight has been putting out an average of 1 new record every 2 years. He does not fit into today's "country" format but tours constantly and constantly sells out every show. He has a Huge cult following. His band is the same as he's always had with the exception of Pete Anderson. The "new" guitar player is very good and rocks ve

I also recorded this on PBS and tried to watch it. Unfortunately though the band played surprisingly well Jagger's vocals became unbearable and I had to switch it off. It really brought home (once again) how far he has fallen. I probably just have to get a lot drunker to get through this travesty.

Hopefully they'll add more dates and go to Texas and Las Vegas. Yoakam and Earle on the same night would fantastic.

Tried free Spotify and hated it. The Channels/Playlists are shit. For free streaming I'm now using Pandora. The Channels/Playlist are very good. If I want to stream specific songs, artists etc. I just use YouTube. The sound quality is typically great but you have to have that app open during use as opposed to Pandora which you can just minimize and do other things on your device at the

The Osbornes will lose this one. Anschutz Entertainment Group can make any booking terms it wants. No one is forcing you to accept them.

QuoteOpenG My two cents - Mick Jagger has never matured as a songwriter and never really wrote any mature lyrics in his 40's and thereafter. He had the talent to continue to write great lyrics but like everyone said in the thread just does not care. I thought the lyrics to Out Of Control were very good.

Quoterollmops Quoteoldschool Cream was the first super group before that became a cliche. They were huge here in the US and Clapton was really the first guitar God IMHO. I still remember nagging my cousin to take me to buy "Disraeli Gears", which was one of my first proper rock album, along with Hendrix "Are You Experienced" as I graduated from buying top 40 single 45rpm'

QuoteRollingFreak Blind Faith album, lightning in a @#$%& bottle. What a monster of an album. Those 5 regular songs (Do What You Like is whatever) that Winwood and Clapton crafted are so unbelievably incredible. Every song is a home run, its outstanding what they accomplished on such a little album. Totally agree. Which begs the question: How many live shows did Blind Faith ever do? Did th

Yeah it was pretty good even though they glossed over or completely omitted a LOT that I would have liked to have seen something on. I guess they had to make a choice to focus on his life and "problems" over that of a chronological history of his musical career. My perspective comes from living through all of those years as a big fan of music from the 60's and 70's. My bigg

I'm sure no one will believe this but I'm gonna lay it out there anyway : Last week I was sipping Tequila at the pool in Hotel California in Todos Santos Mexico when a chap sat down near me and with little else to do we started chatting. Long story short it turns out he is close to the recording process of the new Stones record (engineer or studio technician or something) and he goes

I recently heard the new version of Pretty Woman on Sirious radio with the orchestration added to the original track. It was fantastic. I'll probably pick up this CD.

QuoteThe Sicilian I miss those stadium shows where three or four different good bands played on one bill. Those were the fun days. You're absolutely right about that. $6 - $8 dollar tickets and none of this reserved seating AND an open floor. I saw the Eagles on their Desperado tour like that. I was standing 15' from the band. It was absolutely phenomenal.

Unfortunately Jan Wenner went from being an arbiter of great music to being a left wing politico. The magazine went the same way and alienated at least half of it's previous audience. Good riddence. I'm getting pretty sick of the non-stop Trump bashing when the real criminals (Democrats) constantly get a pass from the left wing media. Man-made global climate change my ass.

This is why I quit going to Stones shows after seeing the Bridges To Babylon show. Mick can't sing the songs properly any more. Keith can't sing any more, period. Keith can rarely play guitar well anymore. Charlie (and the entire band) plays most songs too slow. Too many past band members who were good are no longer with them. Good Points: Ronnie is playing pretty well. The

Yeah. There's some kind of Stones show Friday July 14, 7:00 PM. It's at the House of Blues at The Mandalay Bay.. The add features the tongue logo so it must be "official". Only $10 !!! The most affordable show in town.
