QuoteHairball And how exactly will they know the vaxxed from the unvaxxed...and the negative testers from the positive testers? Anyone can walk in to the stadium with a mask on (vaxxed, unvaxxed. negative test, positive test, no test, etc.), and once they're in anyone will be able to take them off - including the unvaxxed, untested, etc. In Vegas, everyone is required to wear a mask whe

Some stadium/parking links— r/LosAngelesRams sticky for stadium; this may be the best summary for stadium information I’ve found. I would expect updates to be added once preseason games are played in August. Link: Link for on-site parking presales: Link to off-site parking lots with shuttles: Hope it helps…

QuoteHairball Quoteangee What about the Holly Crest Hotel, for LA, near LAX? Never heard of it, but based on the location and the reviews on Tripadvisor, I would say no. Scroll down for reviews - ---NO--- I wouldn't recommend any of the one and two star motels/hostels/dumps around the stadium - again, it's not the friendliest neighborhood. Agree with this. I live within 5

LA Kings fan here. Kings have 9 prospects in the tournament scattered on all teams except Russia and Germany. Have enjoyed watching the games so far (particularly here in LA County, where COVID is worse than ever). Looking forward to watching Byfield (Team Canada), Turcotte and Kaliyev (USA), Bjornfot (Sweden) and the others at Staples Center for years to come. 4 games tomorrow...expect USA

QuoteLien Rolling Stones, which was set to launch 2020 ‘No Filter’ tour in San Diego, cancels SDCCU Stadium concert In related story on that link, SDSU states they are accelerating development of the new stadium, as well as the demolition of existing stadium. Demo of existing stadium will now occur in Spring 2021.

QuoteHairball If it is 2022, wonder how they'll handle the San Diego show as that stadium is scheduled to be demolished soon. And the Austin racetrack show....the entire area will be undergoing major changes > Circuit of the Americas Lot's of other variables to be considered also such as the new stadiums in L.A. and Vegas which will be ready and willing by then - maybe they'd e

Quotekevinbud62583 Is anybody from the Austin area and familiar with camping near the race track? I’m not from Austin but have attended F1 race several times. And I don’t camp, so take what follows with a grain of salt. That said, here are some ideas: COTA has offered camping for F1 and other events; don’t know if it’s RV only or tent too, or even if they plan to offer for Stones concert. S

Quotekv2915 I would have preferred PETCO just because of location and that football stadium is a huge dump. BUT its a Stones show and I will take it. Does anyone know if there is rail service out to the stadium in SD? There is light rail transit stop at SDCCU Stadium parking lot steps from entrance gates. Easy connection at both Old Town and downtown with Amtrak and Coaster trains.

Quotemtaylor I saw that one. That person also has the concert at Petco on 5/17, which isn’t possible with the Padres playing that day, and all week prior (which doesn’t allow for stage to be built, etc.) And states later on that thread that the Padres will be at spring training in Peoria, Illinois in March. (Spring training is in AZ.) Probably need a second, or third, source...

QuoteHairball Two different twitter'ers ( twits?) have posted San Diego the 17th, with one mentioning Petco which seems a no-go due to baseball game. The other has no mention of venue, but still, May 17th....hmmmm....a Sunday.....beautiful San Diego.... old stadium about to be demolished...can this be true? We'll find out soon enough, but something tells me the date might be slightly

QuoteGAFF Quotetimbernardis QuoteMisterDDDD I saw earlier in the thread that May 17th was the rumored opener date in San Diego. Anyone have a best guess (or know) on the venue? Would love Petco Park again as they did for the Zip Code opener, but guessing maybe the SDCCU Stadium? Seems odd now they did Petco when most of the venues on Zip Code were stadiums. Petco is a stadium. plexi

Saw Blondie one day while I was eating lunch at a local South Bay pizza place a few years back. He was walking to the minimart in same strip mall. (He’s not someone you’d mistake for someone else.) Very nice guy. He’s lived in the South Bay Area of So Cal for several years...read in a local paper he now lives in San Pedro area. Makes sense he’d be at the Pasadena show...

Quoteharald2002 Quotekv2915 Quotecyclist Quotekv2915 If you get there really early you might be able to sneak-park around the theaters without paying. I’m hoping to park around three. Any tips since the stadium lot probably won’t be open then? Thanks! The Westgate restaurant/retail plaza is adjacent to the hockey arena--which is next door to the football stadium. There is a ton of parking

Section 14, row 11, here. Also surrounded by LD wristbands. Seats were fine; better view than anticipated...and good sound. And enjoyed having a different perspective than side view, where we sat Sunday night in Santa Clara. A data point for tonight...My daughter is using Lucky Dips I purchased for NJ2 and drew Pit 1. Hopefully I have the same luck for my LDs in Pasadena...if not, I’ll be kicking myself for not making the trip. (As others here have mentioned, Ticketmaster customer service had no problem with adding her as an authorized user to pick up the tickets.)

I am aware of one drop of the 85s on 5/2 (ie day before) around 3pm LA time and another on 5/3 at noon. AXS had a separate web link that was used to buy 85s for both 5/3 and 5/20 show but that link is no longer valid: In my case, I randomly tried the link throughout the day on 5/2 and 5/3 until it suddenly worked around noon the day of the show. Although a few $85 tickets seem to hav

Quote24FPS I looked at the map for Staples on the 20th. The section I was in, 322, is not for sale. If you go and look at the map you will see that those seats should not be on sale at any point. I have attended Stones concerts where they sold all the seats and the staging was such (No Security comes to mind) that yes, you were behind the stage, but at least you could see the band, and they had s

For what its worth, Staples Center did provide a "Stones-specific" seating chart on its web site: Staples Center Seating Chart Sections 332 and 331 are shown on the chart as $150 seats. I'm pretty sure these sections popped up at some point last week during ticket searches, but can't say whether or not they were offered as "limited/obstructed view". In any ev

Wasn't able to get 85's on the first sale date, but had a pair of $250s in Section 306 as a back-up obtained in the citibank presale. Opted to return the 250s for a refund when that choice was offered by AEG when the date change to 5/3 was announced, as I could see by then that I would be unable to recoup that purchase on the resale market. (By that time I also had obtained 85s for th
