QuoteDoc Paris 76 is in the list at 1000% But before we'll get a Voodoo Lounge Tour set. How do you know this? We recently got a Voodoo Lounge-tour set (Totally Stripped), but I guess they're releasing some stadium shows then?

I think Mick throwing the albums is more of a way to show self distance and humbleness. Maybe if he treated the records like they were made of gold it would come across as self righteous.

QuoteStoneage I think 24FPS is refering to when Wyman left the band. 1990 was Wyman's last tour. I would say, like most, that 68-72 was their peak. Both live and on record. For me as a live band they were hitting their peak during the 1995-2003 period, the early 70s performances are just too sluggish for my taste. Charlie became a tighter drummer in the 90s and Mick's singing was more

Can someone explain if this is the sinlge disc bluray or the bluray+2cd edition: The picture says bluray+2cd so I'm confused.

Quotefrenki09 I actually don't really see the point of this thread: still not clear what ReelStone wants in return for your alternate versions. Either state what you want for those alternate versions, so someone may take you seriously, or else go and list it on eBay... ' I don't think ReelStone is sure what he wants, he's probably hoping someone will email him saying '&

Let's hope someone leaks these files for everyone soon... It was the same with Brixton '95 and Olympia '95 a few people hoarded the files until the official release was coming and they quickly let them out...

QuoteDandelionPowderman Glenn Hughes is amazing! Bonnamassa not so much, imo. I like him better with BCC, though. Agreed, Bonamassa is obviously a skilled guitar player, but I think his style is too heavy handed and all his solos follow the same cliché pattern. He also said in an interview that Ronnie Wood ''is a better bass-player than guitar-player'', not very respectful.

Can't help feeling envious of all you who saw the Stones on their best tours. The first tour I was old enough to see was the Bigger Bang tour. Obviously all the previous tours were better. Judging from bootlegs: 1. Licks tour 2. Bridges to Babylon 3. 1976 tour 4. 1981 tour 5. No Security tour The tours I saw: 1. 2007 tour - uneven but often brilliant 2. 2017 tour 3. 2014 tour

Found this show on youtube in excellent audience quality and I must say it's a highly enjoyable watch: I know some people who saw this show said it was the best thus far on the tour, so I think the great playing and iconic venue would make this a great vault release!

Funny or sad how many people have zero Stones albums in their top five.

Voodoo Lounge on cassette. I thought it was a 10/10 album back then and I still do today.

Loved the show yesterday. excellent sound from standing. - Honky Tonk Women was outstanding, - She's So Cold is one of my favorite songs and it was fantastic. - Miss You really rocked the house, - Keith's set was also very enjoyable.

QuoteHairball Quotepowerage78 QuoteEasterMan Negative reviews by Dean Goodman and (sort of) even BV! Was the show really that bad? "It's been a bittersweet tour, flashes of brilliance amid much mediocrity. If only to justify our outrageous expenditures, we persuade ourselves that the Stones will just "keep on keeping on," and maybe they will. But be warned that it's not

I know there has been 100 threads like this one already, but since we got ''Totally Stripped'' it seems like someone's actually listening to the fans requests. So which concerts would you like to see released? Even if 4 songs were released on ''Four Flicks'' I would like to have the full pro-shot from Wiltern Theatre 2002, ''Bitch'&#

QuoteHairball I think Ronnie does an adequate job here. He has huge shoes to fill, and while he never quite hit's the mark, it's an overall joyful experience to watch them play Sticky Fingers in full.. Ronnie is not only adequate but shines on every song, his solo on for example CYHMK is excellent and he doesn't need to fill anyone's shoes, since he has a lot of identit

There's some weird echo effect going on with Michael Lassen's stream. It's not how it really sounds live.

QuoteHonkeyTonkFlash Nice to hear comments that Keith is playing better at this point in the tour. He's always taken a few gigs to find his groove, which is kind of a shame now that they only do shorter tours.Given that fact, I hope they don't attempt one-offs or mini-tours like the Desert Trip / Vegas thing. They never had a chance to warm up. I gotta admit some clips I saw and heard f

Quotekeefriff99 Interesting. Here's a thought experiment: how would the Stones sound without Chuck onstage? Just our boys and Darryl...five people, no safety net, no backup singers. The Stones need Chuck, he's incredible reliant and always has a good attitude. There's a rehearsal clip of Brown Sugar from 2005 without Chuck which rocks senseless, but they won't take a ris

The Stones has always been a songwriters band, it's never been about flawless academical musicianship. If I want to hear odd time signatures and shredding and I can listen to Dream Theater or something like that. Keith isn't done or incapable of playing he's still shining just like the others, and Ronnie is better than 15 years ago. A few bum notes here and there doesn't r

Quotethrak I've just seen Shine A light on youtube. God, it's lights years (2000) away from Stripped version. Woody didn't play solo too good, Keith - he was just standing with guitar. Not true at all. Ronnie's solo on Stripped is a strangled mess. His solo yesterday was excellent and very tasteful. I don't hear much Keith on the studio version either.
