The best concert I've heard from Asia - Australia is the Macau concert, which bv wrote was a 10/10 concert, but this concert is only available as youtube audio, although greatly remastered by rskinno. The Hunter Valley concert released by the No Label has great sound and and is a great performance. I don't know if that release is stolen from a fan source or not though. Please avoid

In my top 10 list of the Stones 70's songs. The 1976 and 1977 El Macombo versions were awesome, Mick still had that roaring sound in his voice which fits this song so well. The 2003 Four Flicks Olympia version is a horrendous trainwreck I think, but there was some decent 2003 versions too, like the Cirkus (Stockholm) version.

The intresting part is that there is a complete video recorded from the pit included in that set! Also there is no good audio recording from this concert yet that has circulated on the internet, there was a decent aud-video on Dime but the sound quality is really bad on that one.

Ok thanks for the replys, the problem I have with the recordings I've heard from the European tour is that they all sound flat and lifeless, nothing like it was being there. But I will check out the Berlin 4-source matrix and the 2-source Rome matrix. If I remember right the Berlin performance was not so hot but it might been the bad recording I heard. Four Flicks is a great buy. The documentary disc is really outstanding. Sadly enough all the concerts have atleast 3 songs edited out, which is a shame really. The Arena disc - containing the HBO Madison Square Garden concert is great, but the audio is not the best, sometimes you can barely hear the guitars.. Very nice selection of songs. This would actually be an excellent release if the Stones themselves released it in perfect soundboard quality. Overall I don't think their gigs are great enough anymore to make live albums from only one concert or two concerts (Hyde Park) but when you throw together the best stuff from 5-10 concerts it's quite enjoyable.
