I’d say the chances of any large scale shows in 2021 are remote at best. Reality is that it will be 2022 before we see shows at the same scale as the Stones. I think it’s possible that mid size shows (small to large theaters) could resume in Fall/Winter 2021. Anything sooner than that feels like wishful thinking at best.

Not sure if it's relevant, but I spoke to a Ticketmaster representative related to a refund for one of the Stones' show for the postponed tour. AEG has authorized refunds through March 2022. May indicate that they are already operating with 2022 as Plan A. May be nothing, but figured I'd share.

I think something with a way out date in March happened last time when they rescheduled for Mick's procedure. Someone got an email about an outdoor venue for I actually think it was March 2022. In any event, the only thing I think it might indicate is that maybe behind the scenes, they are adjusting the dates, but I do not think March 2022 is an accurate month. Year..................quite

Quotefloodonthepage I imagine this has happened for other cities too, but a TON of pretty good tickets are now available for Minneapolis...which makes me want to refund the ones I have and upgrade...though I know many would say it's all likely for nothing and that I'll likely be just getting a refund for any ungrade too...it's still a tempting thought. I did this for Nashville.

QuoteHairball Surprised there's been no announcement regarding either a reschedule or more likely cancellation. Every other band I can think of has taken those steps to either reschedule or cancel, but the Stones seem to be dragging it on and on. Some bands such as ZZ Top have even rescheduled twice! Not sure what the Stones are waiting for...maybe a miracle? Oh well, nice of them to have o

QuoteMisterDDDD Quotebv I am impressed by the optimists who are ready to tour any time soon, but with the band average age now ticking fast to the 80's, and they all being in the high risk group, we don't really want them out on the road on NYC, LA or any other city. I don't understand why people expect Mick, Keith, Charlie and Ronnie to expose them selves to the virus now, or in

FYI Biggest item is it sounds like if show isn’t rescheduled within 60 days of May 1st, the 30 day window will open in early July and likely close in early August. Something to monitor if you have tickets still. I would think this would motivate companies to announce rescheduled dates or risk people cashing due to unknown future date.

QuoteMisterDDDD QuoteStonedInTokyo QuoteMisterDDDD The Stones should consider bringing back their lotus stage to open this new, largest football stadium in the world, lotus stadium being built in China to open in 2022. If The Rolling Stones want to signal to the world how tone deaf they are, then by all means collaborate (on anything) with the Communist Chinese. As for that gaudy Lotus Stadium,

Quotebv I am sorry to say that every month every year a tour - the tour - is getting delayed, they, the band, will get the feel of their age every morning, and anyone at that age i.e. mid to later 70's do know that your body does not feel better and better by age. One day one of them might not be too comfortable staying on the road for three months anymore. The virus is a bump in the road

I still think the payments already received probably have them completing the 15 dates in 2021. Because after all, who wants to return money already paid to you? Beyond that, who knows?

Quotejumpontopofmebaby I have not tried for any refund yet! Dallas and Nashville is all I hold but they are damn good seats. I am waiting until the end of April to decide for refund or not. I am still hoping for a Sept / Oct tour. Hanging on to my Nashville tickets as well, hoping for either Fall 2020 or Summer 2021. Managed to get great seats for the price point I was interested in.

QuoteTopi I really can't see Charlie going that far past 80. And yes crholmstrom, you're right. We have been on borrowed time for SO long now. It could all have ended last year (or with Ronnie's cancer in 2017, or with Keith, or with Charlie before). Bless our lucky stars for it even having gone on for this long. Not sure if this is the case, but regarding the economy, the Stones may have benefited from postponing rather than cancelling. They may have had a hard time rebooking and getting their guarantees but perhaps by postponing and keeping the original contract, they maintained their originally contracted guarantees. Probably better for both the promoter and the band given the costs already spent an

QuoteDREAMTIME I heard that they would like to start with the original Pittsburgh date. If there was any scenario in which it would be planned for 2020, this is likely it if by some chance, health and safety permits. Figure arrival in June for rehearsals, kick off in late June, and finish in late August before football season begins. That being said, I still think 2021 is the way it will

In regards to Ticketmaster and the promoters, it has to be a massive liquidity issue. With all the cancellations and postponements (without newly confirmed dates), the vast majority of people would cash out due to the uncertainty. If I were to say to you that you will see The Rolling Stones in your town exactly 1 year from the original date, then you feel more comfortable then if I say postpo
