Quotebye bye johnny QuoteDougratajczak87 Very very interesting news from a poster on BTX (Bruce Springsteen fan site), who has demonstrated reliably being connected to the touring industry. Credit to Tom Johnson, long time BTX poster who is indeed dialed in.

QuoteStonesfan2146 They are planning to tour elsewhere in 2022? These guys are crazy, I love 'em! It wouldn’t surprise me if the same availability challenges in the US carried over to Europe for 2022 as well, as several tours have been postponed from Summer 2020 to Summer 2021 to Summer 2022. It wouldn’t shock me if the Stones end up seeking out touring somewhere outside of the US and

Quotesmashmark The 97 tour was all over the northeast in October, Buffalo was 10/8 and giants stadium was 10/16,17 so no issue with outdoor shows in October 97 was a lifetime ago. These guys have aged almost 25 years since then. Don't see them being eager to be outside in October unless it's in the south where it is warmer.

QuoteTopi Don't forget that the majority of the Stones tickets have already been sold. A surprisingly high number of casual fans don't even know about the possibility of a refund. Trust me, I run into them on the Stones' social almost daily. (BTW, who's to say that the possible rescheduling announcement isn't going to be about 2022 anyway? Most big names are resche

QuoteTumblinDice76 At this point, any kind of news is good news. This could be one really good Memorial Day Weekend if the news pops tomorrow! Would be plenty of motivation to announce sooner rather than later whether that's this week or next week. More and more announcement means more of people's funds being allocated to shows and with pent up demand as it is today, people are p

QuoteTumblinDice76 QuoteNashvilleBlues And if covid is (it is) a big part of the scheduling delay, why would they play indoors where it is a bigger risk than outdoors? I think someone mentioned earlier that St. Louis could get moved from the Dome to the baseball Stadium due to COVID restrictions, that seems to be the biggest piece of the puzzle that show this tour will remain a Stadium Tour.

QuoteTumblinDice76 QuoteDouratajczak87 I'd agree with this in terms of Charlie being over playing US stadiums in the Fall(was at the extremely cold 2006 Chicago show). Chicago 2006 was exactly the show I was referring to! Show was outstanding, despite having limited feeling in my feet lol. I really lucked out for that as I had 19th row on the field on Ronnie's side thanks to

QuoteTumblinDice76 I think after 2006, Charlie is over playing Stadiums in the U.S. in the Fall. Summer 2022. I'd agree with this in terms of Charlie being over playing US stadiums in the Fall(was at the extremely cold 2006 Chicago show). The weird delay due to COVID is the wild card. I could see them wanting to clear their backlog for a potential 60th anniversary series of dates.

QuoteTopi The word around the campfire before was that the Stones wanted to tour in 2021 but the insurance companies wanted to push it back to 2022. Also, I heard this: "The logistics company that handles their trucks were receiving inquiries to tour as early as May. May of course won’t be happening but it does show their intent to tour sooner than later." I remember one of the

QuoteMisterDDDD Nice! Count this amongst one of my favorite shows. Chicago 2 was also great, but the energy in the stadium for this opener was electric. Everyone in the stadium, including the band it seemed, was excited and a bit nervous to see Mick back in action after the heart issue. In Mick's run down the catwalk and back during SFM (4:25), his attitude said it all.. he was back..

QuoteMr Jimmy I wouldn't be at all surprised if there is an announcement over the next few days confirming rescheduled US tour dates for Spring 2022. Agree with other posts here that something is likely to be announced soon, what with the recent social media activity. My thought exactly since it’s clear 2021 won’t be viable and that 2022 should be.

Quotegrzegorz67 QuoteHairball Sure georgie - I could see 2022 happening in some way, but it would be much different than what was originally planned with these postponed US shows. Maybe a small number of small shows at small venues with small handful of people in attendance socially distanced and masked to commemorate the 60th - London would be the obvious choice. But there's still plen

QuoteJDSAM1994 I think a fall 2021 tour is a bit of a long shot with uncertainty here in the U.S. by the fall of 2021 we might start returning to normal. There probably isn’t enough time for us to achieve herd immunity and for them to confidently schedule a tour. But I do think that the 2020 tour will be canceled eventually and replaced with a 60th tour in big markets. If they were going to canc

Some optimism in general regarding a return to normalcy. I’m not suggesting in any way that the Stones tour in 2021, this is more in regards to hope for 2022 and events that are already rescheduled with new dates.

Quoteartedm The source added that Jagger’s in peak shape and wants to tour again next year. “He has made a complete recovery, and is making his signature moves in private rehearsals,” the source said. “He tells insiders the Stones hope to tour in 2021, or when it’s safe to return to the stage.” I think its going to be more like when it's safe to return to the stage (from quote above).

Looks like the possible owner of the transportation company for the Stones production equipment based on the pictures. Interesting that the person posted it on LinkedIn of all platforms.

QuoteHairball Just heard that those 18 and under in the US might not get a vaccine until the end of next summer and in to the fall, so that might have some consequences when planning large concerts in stadiums regarding ticket sales, etc. for many bands. If that is true, the Stones might want to wait to re-schedule any US shows until the Spring/Summer of 2022, but I have my doubts the insurance c
