Fabulous pictures! Quotebonddm QuoteJesse Did MT play on Rocks Off? Why was it bad? Thanx. How many of Jagger's "casual" fans know Rocks Off?Get rid of it and give us something else off Exile, preferably with MT. What else off Exile would these supposedly casual fans know, that they're not already doing?

Yup. (I had to get all my picture sleeves sent by my US pen pal, up until JJF. One of life's little ironies.)

QuoteGumbootCloggeroo Great show. For me the highlight was that little snippet of Come On. Yeah, you know, although it got instantly dropped, the highlight of the Nov. 25 O2 show for me was that they opened with I Wanna Be Your Man. Not the best opener, maybe, but an unforgettable moment. (My copy of Come On was an ex-jukebox copy, for which I had to acquire a 45-adapter--as we now call the

If I hear the terms "warhorses" and "deeper cuts" one more time, I'm going to kill myself. I'm now writing from beyond the grave. Looking surprisingly good.

I agree with mysticale totally, and I'm pretty ancient, too. When I'm not watching the Stones, I'm watching contemporary artists, some of whom I consider geniuses and others very talented (not naming names here as it would be a bit off-topic and I don't want to get into an argument about individual artists). What's now called classic rock was great, but it would be awfu

I know this sounds shocking, but he may just have genuinely wanted to give Darryl some credit, I mean stranger things have happened . . .

Quotelatebloomer Quotestonesrule Aquamarine, your use of the word "overblown" is shocking. I forgive you because I love your name. Ever the lady, stonesrule...best laugh I've had today. It was intentional, MJ's reputation being what it is, but I appreciate the forgiveness, being a lady myself.

EXACTLY. He's probably the most popular member of the band right now anyway, even among people who aren't crazy about his songs. (And that "todger" thing has been so overblown it's unbelievable.) It's both respect for his playing, and respect for his survivorship. We nearly lost him a while back . .

On another note--I don't know if anybody mentioned what a great job Lisa did on Gimme Shelter. If they didn't, I just did.

Quoterambler44 Quotebenstones Between two songs, at the end, I don't remember exactly which songs, they waited a long time. Not as usual. Normally, when they finish a song, they don't wait more than 10-15 seconds to begin another one. But there, Mick and Keith were speaking, laughing and then Mick took his mic, and said: "Keith just told me something funny"... Then Mick told u

Thanks for all the pics and vids. I forgot to add my voice to those saying what amazing form Keith was on, and he really looked to be having a great time. Jagger's voice was terrific to me, I can't think of any other (nearly) 70-year-old who could do that falsetto. That massed guitar army, with MT on his knees, during Rambler was just a mind blower.

Quoteduffydawg Just back....this show was a bore. They stole the money from me. MT on only MR. Its a complete joke. Everything is so canned and tightly coreographed..... Everyone I was with were stunned that MT had only one song prior to encore. NO 3 GUITAR ATTACK. DOES NOT EQUATE TO $600 OF VALUE MUCH LESS $100. Just goes to show--I paid more than that and thought it was worth

Sorry, I'm on my phone, hence short posts. I spoke to MT when he wandered into the bar of what turned out to be the band hotel (I'm not staying there). Only short chat. Super-nice guy. Said I hoped he'd get lots of songs, he seemed to think he got 6 in LA, said he doubted wld be that many tonight, thought "he" (assume MJ) was working toward a sort of crescendo of using h

Somewhat underwhelmed, having come all the way from Louisiana, where TM plays frequently). Not that he's not really good! Forgot to say I spoke to MT yesterday. He didn't seem optimistic thathe was going to get a lot of songs tonight, but he didn't know yet.

Quote71Tele Well, nice to know that after all these years our boys can still be blamed for wrecking British society. Exactly--I find this interview wonderfully nostalgic. Just when you were thinking the Stones were part of the establishment, they're the bad boys again. I love it, personally.

Yes, I remember him having a record out and having quite a following for a short while (meaning, also pinup pics in girls' magazines!). Haven't seen a picture of him for years now though. Quotegotdablouse So what did Marianne have to say about him? Loudmouth bully, basically. (Her opinion, obviously.) Got canned from some film she was working on--no details, though.

I thought Mick said his brother was caretaking Stargroves for him? At one point, anyway. Marianne Faithfull didn't have kind words for CJ in her book, but that's obviously a very subjective view.

Quotetreaclefingers Quoterunaway The Stones to play Hyde Park 6 2013, 44 years after Brian Jones Tribute. It would be great to see Bill playing and a hologram for Brian... if it's a really sunny day won't it be hard to actually see the Brian hologram? just sayin'... Let's not get carried away.
