QuoteDandelionPowderman Yeah, I was thinking of a multi-player (as I have one myself). My bad Problem is, that if you don´t SEE it, - you wouldn´t know which chapter to choose . . . (the old VideoCD lost the battle to the DVD - because of the DVDs root-menu - it simply acted like a CD, - and the funny thing is, - that a CD-player apparently will read AND play a VideoCD, - but NO

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteHenrikBB Certainly not a bad list, - maybe a little "unpractical" mixing albums and singles, - and no album titles, - or mentioning "single" - "EP" etc. . . . Could very well be both illegal, - unofficial, - and several other unpleasant things . . . But : THE ARTWORK IS GREAT ! ! ! - in fact FANTASTIC ! ! ! - and a LOT of work has been done to make this ! - I find the "Che Michael Guevara Jagger" portrait amazing !

An excellent compilation ! ! ! - and a part of my DNA ! - and easy to understand why it was repressed and repressed ! ! ! Unfortunately the CD-era has been pretty rough on this album, - as the only CD-release of the UK-version, - with it´s 9 ERPS-tracks, - was released in Japan in 1987 - (P25L 25039) - and is now quite hard to find ! All other CD-releases holds the US-version

QuoteDandelionPowderman The «stereo» edition must be electronic reprocessed stereo, surely? I´m not sure if it ever was released in Stereo . . . . . ? - even though the 1970 rerelease is labeled "Stereo" ! No 1 & No 2 were both rereleased marked "stereo" on German Decca, - both in glorious Mono ! - and I think the same goes for this album . . . My

QuoteDandelionPowderman Quotealimente QuoteDandelionPowderman The Now cassette version (aka the third version). Never heard about that one! What's the difference to the other two versions - a totally different (3rd) take or just mixing/editing differences? Sorry about the late reply. I have transferred the cassette version now. Here it is: RIP Prince ! ! ! So Sad indeed ! ! !

A Great Great song ! - which really stuck in my mind, - since I heard it for the first time, - around 1971 . . . . Some info, - for the Hard-Core-Collectors . . . . WLY is probably the studio-recording that exists in most different "versions" - Officially released : *) - The 3.10 Radio-edit *) - Normal Stereo version, - left to right, - 4.39 *) - Single-version,

Quotesaltoftheearth The biggest disappointment for me was the mono version of We love you (and also Paint it, black on THE LONDON YEARS where it is stated taht everything was mastered from the original master tapes. It is downright depressing to listen to the former song which is so much based on stereo effects. In that respect, the Stones have never done much good in their publishing policy.

QuoteMatt But still. This turned out to be a discussion about mono vs stereo, but that is another question. What I find disturbing is the fact that we have been mislead by the false labelling and the fact that the record companies have gotten away with it without any (?) complaints I´m not, - either - really sure about what the problem is ? ? ? It is common knowledge that all pre-Aftermath mat

QuoteCome On Yup, and thanks for that..it's actually the Mono mixes that is really good even nowadays...One should have knowt that back then ...even ya ya's excisting on Mono/Decca... Actually GYYYO only exists in Mono on LONDON, - and was only released in a few contries, - Argentina, - Brazil, - and I think Mexico.

Quotetreaclefingers OK Henrik, so now that you have all our 'hearts aflutter' and researching our respective collections, are you able to give us a range of pricing one might expect to buy/sell this item for? Quotedeardoctortake1 The Blue swirl versions list the the song as 2"28, is it the same edit? No, - and this is very strange ! The White / Purple 7" exists with a mislabeling of IAON 2.28 - which happens to be the runningtime of the B-side "Good Times, Bad Times" - This is just a mislabelling - it does not hold the radio-edit ! Quotewhitem8 I have the spanish version of SF, and many say it is a fold down, it it is, it sounds damn good. I don't think it is... I can hear some subtle differences in the mixes. Can't You Hear Me knocking seems to fad out longer, and has a more distorted intro. Brown Sugar, the acoustic and lower in the mix (as opposed to the stereo Japanese pressing where the acoustic is full cente

Quote1963luca0 Ebay is a place where you have to pay a lot of attention when buying unusual items. At the moment, I'm following a mono promo copy of the US 'Sticky Fingers'. Quotesilkcut1978_ In Japan it was released as "Hits LIVE". And just for the sake of completeness, "Have You Seen Your Mother LIVE" was a british export-release for Scandinavia. At least in Germany and France it was released as "Got LIVE" in January 1967. I haven´t heard of the "Hits Live"-album (?), - in Japan it was released as "Have You Seen Y

Quotesilkcut1978_ I have the "Live At The Max" LaserDisc but it must have been ages since I've watched it the last time. As far as I can remember the sound wasn't significant (better) compared with the VHS-tape. Ok, less hiss but a somehow flat sound - like the LSTNT LD. Easy to forget about it. I have the Tokyo LD as well but I think I've never played it. Somehow t
