I've loved that song since I first heard it ! - and still consider it to be a "signature-song" on BB . . . One strange thing : Been "working" on a project concerning the different runningtimes of the Beggars Banquet album, - and have realised that "Jigsaw Puzzle" seems to be the ONLY track that was never released outside the BB-album ! - ? - not on s

"At The Max" was released in 1991 on a double VIDEOCD, and here the "sound" is quite different from the DVD-release, - much more like a real live-album. (VIDEOCD was a short-lived media, - that lost the battle to DVD, - and I can´t tell if the audio is identical to the laserdisc release)

This might be very old news for the most of you, - and has probably been mentioned already, - but new to me, - as I have just realized, that Beggars Banquet is speed corrected ! - as it was done on the 2002 DSD release. This means that it runs a little faster, than the original Mono BB - changing the key slightly. So the completist will still have to own an original vinyl mono r

Quoteironbelly HenrikBB You have the US pressing. IFPI LN08 and matrix string point to that. The numbers I presented above correspond to the EU version. The Japanese version (see below) has reversed channels too. DandelionPowderman Funny thing is - DVD and BlueRay contain correct mix. The screw up is on the first CD run only. Anyway, one can imagine he is sitting on Charlie's

My copy seems to have the reversed channels . . . Keith is playing to the left, - and I agree, - it doesn´t sound "right" ! Matrix CD 1 : EVSDB30979EV 30736-9 2784496 (IFPILN08) Matrix CD 2 : EVSBD30979EV 30736-9 2784507 (IFPILN08) - I´m sure Ironbelly can tell where those came from ! - I don´t remember from where I bought it. Of course a lot of jokes can be made abo

Message from a grumpy old collector : When I saw the original request regarding these promos, - my first thought was : "Why don´t this guy search for the "records" - and BUY them ? " I KNOW I´m ol´fashioned, - because I want to OWN the stuff in a physical manner - but blo%dy He%l - that´s the FUN of it ! ! ! Well, - Times are a´changing - but honestly . .

Well, - it´s a strange world, - but the REALLY rare stuff is still very expensive . . . . the "Have You Seen Your Mother Live" - Decca vinyl - MONO (the rarest) - the "Sticky Fingers" - vinyl, - MONARUAL - (more common) the 7" orange-swirl JJF - STEREO - (rarely for sale) - the YCAGWYW Soulwax radioedit promo CD . . . (rare - rare !) - and so on . .

Quotejbgoode I've got the boxset with the 7". When the box came out, i didn't buy it, 'cause i didn't have the money. Beside that i thought the price was a bit too redicilous. After a few months i got a mail from Bravado, that the box was a bit cheaper, and they would include a 7" single with "Dancing with mr. D", signed by Mick Taylor....I ordered immedia

QuoteDeltics QuoteHenrikBB Still very curious if the UK-single single for Scandinavia, - "Little Queenie / Love In Vain" is Mono . . . ? I don't have it but purely judging by the XDR matrix number I would say that it is probably mono. Stereo would have been ZXDR. "Memo From Turner" was also released in mono. To the best of my knowledge, the first UK Decca single
