Saw them in Chicago after the Stones in Milwaukee. The audience was rabid, the band was hot, the sound was loud. Their new stage set up is incredibly innovative. I had cheap seats and a set of tickets in the ballyhooed RED ZONE...save your money the RED ZONE is another AEG way to take your money I suspect. We spent most of the time in our cheap seats where our view was better, great in fact. It w

26 July 1975, Mick's birthday Bloomington Indiana, my first show. As I approach the 40th anniversary I find myself anxiously awaiting news of anything later this year and hoping that the leave I requested on a gamble coincides. I have said it often here, for me the whole experience is a combination of the shows and the nomadic reunion of great friends., It is what THEY ( the band) and WE (we

If the cause is Keith's solo album, then he is basically reversing the stance that he has maintained for years about solo work, and effectively making a mockery of his justification for the great Richards-Jagger war of the 80's. Keith wanted to tour, Jagger wanted to work at his solo career, battle lines were drawn. Keith stated and has maintained in all the years since that his anger

Quotelatebloomer By day, he's mild-mannered,shy Bjornulf...hard worker, devoted husband, father, and grandfather. By night, he's superfan!!...able to leap tall buildings, jump over security guards, pilot his fanmobile, all in the single-minded pursuit of truth, justice, and a front row spot to see The Rolling Stones. Oh, he also runs IORR. And as we all know, by day he is hard t

I am a believer that if you want it, if you are willing to work hard enough at it, throw enough cash at it, with the possible exception of the show in memory of Stu, there is no Stone's show you don't have a reasonable chance at. I know 5 of us got into the Beacon with an ex-president and a sitting senator with no Secret Service vetting, without even so much as an identity check. I know

! hour after Milwaukee went on public sale there were no tickets available. 30 minutes after the majority of 25000 tickets went on General Sale, Stubhub had 3400 + tickets for sale ( 3500 + right now) As Paulywauly pointed out to me that is an awful lot of lucky people who got through and accidentally bought tickets for a show they realized the could not attend immediately after their credit c

The big difference for me this time, as even compared to the down under tour, is that all of this hunt through various presales, back doors, VIP packages, secondary sources, etc, has just lost it's adrenaline rush. That said , I have 4 shows scheduled, and as soon as I hear "Ladies and Gentlemen, and now..." all doubts and regrets will disappear. They always do

LOL talking with Rcfoxy, did some shoddy math. Front 5 rows VIP ticket last November Auckland was roughly wit fees and taxes $900 US. Now if your lucky to find it, the same package is about $1800 US. Some us started joking about meeting in Melbourne on the 6o and counting tour in 2022. Now if that is a show in our summer and hits around January, following the current growth in ticket prices ,

Well not long ago I was able to pull up Section E row 1 seats 7 and 8 Front row Ronnie side) as VIP packages still. So 5 days into various presales you can still get a front row seat at a Rolling Stones show. On the one hand, I find that hard to swallow on a historical basis. On the other hand, I am not at all surprised when the asking price is $1800 a tickert with fees. I tossed them back. I

Ill repeat this post in the specific Milwaukee thread... Now I am really confused, AMEX PRESALE for Milwaukee offered GA Pit, covered PIT as options for $421 but there is no PIT on the map. Guess it doesn't matter, couldn't get the tickets anyway, they were gone. Still there arfe more presdales and a general sale to go as well as secondary market. Where is this invisible pit at the M

Other than Indianapolis, I have not seen any mention any where on any released venue map or pricing list about PREMIUM or VIP ticket packages this tour. They are expensive I know, but flying in from NZ on the day of the show , at near 60 years old and not in the best shape, it is nice to know ( though it appears an unpopular opinion here) that after 40 years since my first show I can still see m

I totally understand where the people come from when they say they do not want to see a show without MT. I get why people still looking for socially relevent art are disappointed in the continued touring of this particular performing musical entity. Thankfully I disagree with them , and highly doubt, despite thier apocalyptic view, that their abscence will even be noticed this summer. No one

Feeling good about legacies, the Stones and mine! Driving home in Auckland I just got an international text from my 10 year old great nephew who has just started guitar lessons. He heard the Stone were on tour somehow, asked his mom if he could go, and she had a him text me about getting him a ticket. ALL RIGHT PEYTON ALT UNCLE STEVE IS GONNA TAKE YOU TO YOUR FIRST STONES' SHOW THIS SUMMER!

For what its worth, I believe they will keep us hanging on until some time in April. 6 Weeks before the first public show. Now by my claculation that makes it near 15 April, the US tax due date. I cannot imagine the Stones( or anyone) asking the American Populace to buy expensive tickets on tax date...so 17 April, which is also my birthday, yep that is what is going to happen. Lose your dream

I grew up and spent most of my early adult life as a HURRYING HOOSIER, which is the big reason behind my screen name. Almost all of my relatives still live in Indiana. I was born in April, saw my first Indy 500 in May, made the paper as the youngest fan. Saw 30 more races, my dear old dad was a USAC Official when that was the sanctioning body for the Indianapolis 500 in May. 57 years on my famil

Niek, I am in the same boat as you. I work urban ED with AL being distributed months in advance among 63 or so MD's. We are told to ask a year in advance. By luck a conference in Nashville runs from 28 May thru 1 June, so the company flies me there. By more luck the first three weeks of June were free and I extended. And then ...I am not shy about working any shit shift that comes alon

I don't think it is any one man's decision at all to play it safe. At this point in time, especially from watching him on stage light up when he steps forward, I think that crowd recognition/adoration is every bit as important to Keith as it is to Mick. As for anything new, lets admit that NOT including compilations and live projects. Jagger has 4 solo to two Richards albums plus Super

My friend and kiwi uber fan rcfoxy and I discussed this MT issue at length this morning . We are trying to figure out how we can do several of the USA shows and will probably be sharing a room . If MT would like , he can room with us no charge . Now he can't sau he was "uninvited." Nonetheless should he turn our offer down , we will continue to do our best to make it to several

All that talk about the Enmore reminds me what a strange world we live in. I was at the Enmore, a few meters away was a total stranger I remet a decade later. That total stranger and I are now freinds that just finished the down under tour sharing rooms, bars, and time at the rail! This is part of what makes life as a Stones fan so great!

My faith in BV is such I have taken leave from 25 May through 29 June. He is no trickster. However the increasing news of stadiums only is starting to dull my enthusiasm. Its my own damn fault. I remember as recently as ABB friends like Beast and I being happy with row 4, 5 etc in a Stadium. Everything changed with the O2 shows in London that introduced the Pit. We are now spoiled, through the On
