Thanks BV and everyone else. Last few days I have been wearing a plug over my left ear to let it rest and recover. I recommend these silicon plugs to anyone. It molds to the shape of your ear and blocks out most noise. Silicon Ear Plugs It is crazy that it happened in an instant. There was a certain note that Dave Grohl hit and I felt something happen. Like some kind of physical rea

Quoteduke richardson it needs to be said but its so obvious..the Rolling Stones are in new territory now. they went there with Sway and CYHMK, in addition to Rambler.. there is a new Taylor live era now. he has made them what they should be as a live band. any shows that don't add that big LP sound to some other songs besides rambler will be somehow diminished, and audiences

QuoteMunichhilton No joke. Go see a Dr about tinnitus...it truly happens and possibly some help available... Rotten Grohl Thanks, have something scheduled for Thursday. From what I've read around the internet, some people say it is permanent, others say it goes away. Truth be told I'm getting a bit nervous after 3 days......

I was right next to the stage when Dave Grohl soloed on Bitch. My left ear has been ringing since then. (3rd day today) Figure about 90% of you will joke me, but seriously, how long could this last? The ringing is not noticeable in a normal setting of conversation etc...but very noticeable in a quiet room and when trying to sleep. History = No prior ear damage/ringing etc.... Any hel

Quotewopperla Thank God we are out of Anaheim. Did anyone notice the Nazi vibe Saturday night? Starting with the Really Milataristic Bible Thumpers lined up every ten feet outside the Honda to the completely obnoxious Honda Usher who got into my face during Brown Sugar because I was one foot into the aisle and then the infamous Exit route created by who knows who to make sure we CANNOT get on

Grohl blew out my eardrum. Was sitting right off to the side of the pit and his solo literally made me lose my hearing. Ears have been ringing since the show on Sat night. Will this go away?

QuoteGumbootCloggeroo How many people here have actually met and hung out with Mick and Keith long enough to actually decipher the nature of their relationship or are your conclusions based on their on stage demeanor? If it's the latter, you are talking out of your ass. Well it's a bit short-sighted to say: Since we aren't close to them --> We cannot draw a conclusion on their

QuoteChristopher What we dont know wont hurt us. Just remember........its all this "bickering" and "drama" that has kept them in the headlines and in turn lined their pockets with millions. Let us not over react to this and be glad there are more concerts to go to! Interesting angle.

QuoteWindyHorses QuoteShanstone1 Thanks for all the info. Appreciate it. So funny how everyone's experience in the pit is a little different. I guess it's all about perspective or what rubs people the wrong way when attending a concert. Shanstone One other thing, Shanstone. When Mick moves around the lip, people in the pit follow him because they are capturing on their phones,

Quotemgshorr Quoteduke richardson its a shame that there's a thing in the thread title.. i did that once and got scolded big time. Can someone explain this? (I assume you are referring to the emoticon.) If that's a no-no around these parts I'll remove it. Ah ha, just saw BV edit the post and remove it. Thank you. Will not add emoticons to subject line going forward...

Also, ever notice that when Mick starts talking to the audience in between songs, Keith will just start playing the next before Mick is finished speaking. It's the little things that probably drive each other nuts.

QuoteWindyHorses You know, I remember Anita saying that Keith likes to give Mick a hard time. So, maybe the problems go way back. I am not saying it's Keith's fault or Mick's. It's both of them, I think. It's egos. They have hurt each other badly. I feel sorry for Ronnie and Charlie as I think they have to play go-between. So childish. I just enjoyed them more wh

Here's the deal... Clock is ticking for these guys and its clear that they are not so friendly anymore. Wouldn't it be nice if they patched it up sooner rather than later/never? What a HUGE shame if these guys to go to their graves as enemies. (Perhaps they are not enemies, but they sure aren't friends.) Their music will be around as long as there are people on earth

Agree with everyone. JJF is a fantastic opener. IMO, JJF and Satisfaction shouldn't be played together at the end. They are both so powerful and encore-town just ain't big enough for the both of 'em.

I was not in the Anaheim pit, but the pit in Newark for the 12/15 show. I assume the rules are the same. Food and drink are permitted. (Assuming you refer to food/drink bought at the venue?) And there was not special bathroom, you basically have to leave the pit and head to the nearest bathroom in the venue. Again, I wasn't in the Anaheim pit, but 1) I assume they will not constru
