Quotebenstones We are two days before the first American show, I don't know why stonesnews.com, very serious by the way, would lie or tell something that he's so sure about that. Yeah, well the thing is thatjust because you do not think someone is making something up doesn't mean it's not wrong to post OFFICIAL . . . . when there's nothing official. YOU being sure they

A few people have said it but it bears repeating . . . those are listings on Stub Hub, people who have extra tickets and brokers. A show can be SOLD OUT and there can still be thousands of tickets on Stub Hub. Those are all people looking to RESELL tickets.

QuoteMunichhilton QuoteChrisM This sort of thing happens all the time wih artists who aren't technically dead... You're referring to Clapton? What does that mean, not "technically dead" but might as well be?

QuoteDandelionPowderman Quotekleermaker I agree that Taylor's playing during those 25 and 29 November concerts differs from his playing during the early 70ties with the Stones. It's less fluid and soaring, it's shorter and the notes are more 'separated' from each other. I too prefer his 70ties style with the Stones. Still, his playing added something extra the Stones miss

Quotechop 1/2 the audience won't know who Mary J Blige is...NOBODY will know who the heck Gary Clark Jr is. This post is the first time I've heard him mentioned outside of "Rypien to Clark..touchdown Washington Redskins" never heard of Clark but i think I'll take him over Clapton or beck in that slot. Every single person in the audience will know who mary J. Blige is

QuoteFather Ted MT essentially got the same stage time as Eric Clapton and Jeff BecK and I don't think we'll be seeing either of them on any new Stones album either. Sorry to rain on people's parade but I just can't see it happening any more than Bill Wyman would be invited back to the studio. MT was a Stone, now he's a guest...a very welcome one who would no doubt add

QuoteStonesTod perfect except for keith's right leg, which is strangely out of place... someone else complained that Keith and Ron (all of them, not just one leg) were out of place, that they should have been up front. Personally, i think it's one of their lamest songs, I guess people are just creaming over it because of the rarity factor. There's a million others I'd ra

The question is not whether people are eager to pay 3 times normal cost, as if normal cost were another option. The question is whether people think it's worth it vs. what the alternative was -- no shows, continued retirement. Standard repertoire is what was expectd from the beginning, no? The extravaganza is the fact that they came back to play a few shows. Thats what people are pay

QuoteBowe It's been dicussed many many times before, but as a musician I can clearly see his importance for the Stones. He counts off a lot of the songs for the right tempo. He gives cues for endings etc. I saw Jagger looking at him quite a few times: Is this allright?? Then he nodded yes. He makes the band feel safer on stage and he's always very well prepared.
