Not only in Germany, CousinC... Yes, there have been times when 1 million worldwide wasn't a big number. But nowadays that's a very satisfying number. I could say “amazing”, as alhavu1 did, considering the fact that "Grrr!" is "just another compilation", that have been labelled as “useless” by many, many fans. Nowadays we can see albums which are going to #1

According to “Mediatraffic”, “Grrr!” has sold 1,011,000 copies worldwide so far, being at #12 on it’s 7th week (tomorrow, Saturday, we can see the numbers –sales and position- of the 8th week). According to the other global chart, named “musicchart”, “Grrr!” has sold about 100,000 copies more, so far (reported 973,000 but on the 6th album’s week). According to “Mediatraffic”, the “run

My suggestion for # 52: Some people were calling the Stones "musically dinosaurs". At the same time others were calling the Stones "musically chameleons". But the Stones always were both and neither of them...

Kirk wrote: "In Greece, rock stations play both Doom and Gloom and One more shot" Correct. But i think they play D&G much more often than OMS. In addition, on Saturday a popular television programme about sports utilized D&G as "soundtrack", while a Top-20 of the best goals (i'm talking about soccer) of the week, worldwide, was on. Georgelicks, as i see (“Mediatraffic.de”), “Grrr!” sells very well worldwide too, ortherwise i guess it wouldn’t be between #5 and #12 during six weeks. And, according the numbers that have been reported on the particular global chart, “Grrr!” have sold 879,000 copies on it’s first six weeks (#5, #11, #11, #12, #9, #12). You mention 775, 000 and i suppose the number reffers to six weeks too.

I think there is an optimistic element here: Probably was not arthritis the main reason why Keith had problems during some parts of ABB tour (although i hadn't seen and heard the definition of a "dead guitarist" then, but that's another story). If Keith's main health problem had to do with arthritis, then he would have more problems on stage in 2012, as he is older now, u

What exactly happens here? Hmmm... Let me guess... I suppose IORR board gives every new person here (as myself) a trial and the name of the hardship we have to bear is "StonesTod". BV, am i admitted now?

My Top- 5 1. Licks Outdoors (really impressive, to me) 2- Voodoo Lounge (the snake was a smart idea and it gave some elegance, IMO) 3- ABB (excellent) 4- 2012 Toung Stage (clever idea) 5- B2B (imressive but very "heavy" stage, very "baroque"...)

My real name, coming from mythology, is Laertes (you know, father of Odysseus). It sounds "Laertis", in greek. The addition "flash" just reffers to a mythical song and for sure you know which song i mean...

Probably, LZ is the greatest HARD rock band ever. I like them, but how could we compare their music with the Stones music in terms of breadth and depth? The Stones is obviously a more significant band, IMO. The Stones longevity, in connection with their music’s quality, it represents a very important part of band’s legacy. After 50 years, personally i still cannot find a really bad Stones alb

I never liked the song. To be honest, i never liked the whole album too (except 3-4 tracks). There is... how to say... there is a intense element of pop childishness here. But, fortunatelly, in 1968 came out the epic Stones material...

I think they could offer us a tour (not a mammoth one, necessarilly), with longer breaks between the gigs, in comparison with the previous tours. Arenas and some stadiums, why not? But as for the ticket prices, with respect, there is a huge dif

According to “Mediatraffic”, “Grrr!” made debut at #5 on the global album chart. Second week, # 11. Sales on the two weeks: 260,000 copies (148,000 + 112,000). Trying to understand what exactly does that mean these days, i saw albums sales done by other famous pop –rock artists, at the same time or one –two week before “Grrr” came out. So, during their first two weeks the following bands o

I think Mick can manage his endurance, saving powers, in any stage- bigger or smaller. Noone expects to see him running "coast to coast" in a stage, 10 times during a gig. It's no necessery. I still like stadium gigs, for many reasons. Among them, the most important factor to me: stadiums = much more young people. Arenas & stadiums, something like "Licks Tour"...
