What a great thread! I discovered them being 11-12 seing the Harlem Shuffle video. And then heard Mixed emotions being 15 in 89 and got the album. And never looked back since.

I remember standing in 2003 in front and thinking, this is not the last time here. Same thing in 2007, but the faith had a few speed bumps along the journey! And now!! (Besides having moved to Cyprus, excelent excuse to have a trip back home!) Actually surprised that Copenhagen managed to get a show, I would have lost a bet easily on this one!

We are talking about a man who paid $60 mill for Torres, $5-7 mill for the boys is a bargain of a century!

Thanks Irix, my email is as unhidden know as Mick's intention going into studio 54 in the 70's ;-)

ANyone who can help someone with a mac from 2009 (can't use tunnelbear because my mac is too old, and can't download the channel4 app from UK. And the torrentlink doesn't work for me, maybe because I have a mac? Help, I need somebody! :-)

Roskilde and Midnight Rambler was special. The longest Rambler ever and Mick Taylors last one (so far). And Bobby's last solo on Brown Sugar

Wonderful idea and project. Thank god Keith suggested to play some blues as a warm up on that day, and not the american songbook or something ;-)

I think it's pretty much genius to be paid $4mill to rehearse infront of a crowd (however lame a crowd it might be according to some) especially with the low number of gigs this fall. Heck, I'd rather rehearse my 3 new songs infront of deaf people vs my wife if I got a bottle of Dom as payment ;-) And seems logical to rehearse songs that they'll play at the event where it&#

I should have won a bet in Germany in 1998 when people around me convinced themselves that this was the last time, and I was laughed at when I said I gave them another 20 years, I still think that will be pretty accurate. Maybe Europe 2017 as the last "tour", and then some farewell shows in the US spring 2018 (without calling it that). It all depends on how they take care of thems

There's a HUGE difference between making albums and playing live. Just look at the sales. Albums is going one way only, live ticket sales are a huge success. And passion wise, being locked up in a basement/studio with someone you tend to have arguments with musically and have no one be truly interested in the outcome... vs going on the road and have everything be agreeable and have ever

There's NO way Mick would put up with the physical requirements for him being able to do what he does on stage is he didn't enjoy it. Wtf is he going to do with $20-40 mill or whatever extra from each tour? No amount of touring is going to generate lifechanging money for at least Mick, Keith and Charlie at this point.

Clearly it's: "Hey, Hey, you got me rocking now.. just kidding!:-) "I was a hooker losing her looks" isn't bad. Seriously, and it needs to be at least a top 6: I was born in a crossfire hurricane, and I howled at my ma in the driving rain Dying all the time, lose your dreams and you will lose your mind I watched in glee as your Kings and Queens fought fo

Rumour has it that in return for the shirt from Suarez, Mick wanted to play and dedicate "Winning Ugly" but was vetoed by Charlie ;-)

Maybe a lot of it, if not all comes down to Mick being the one who feels the energy from the audience, and maybe even as he get's older feeds off of it. And so he prefers energy from the audience over respect from hardcore fans. And as much as I would like to go see exile played from start to end, I respect his choices. I would suggest that he tried out joking in advance about it, when

Really positively surprised. Love Keiths guitar tone on several songs. Some great sax playing - although I miss Bobby obviously. Sasha did great as well. Keiths voice was strong. Mick is Mick and yes it's incredible and I'm SO close to taking that for granted now! SO tempting to look for ways down there now :-)

This is not a rumor, but my prediction is that they'll start the tour with "She was hot" in the 4-5th slot, and andeed as a play from Mick to Sasha, only to midway through the tour be replaced by "She's so cold" :-)

Let's have some fun and collect some of the more doubtful rumors around the South American set lists! :-) Mick met Paul Simon who shared his success on playing "You can call me AL" twice in a show. So Miss You is rehearsed extra for that purpose. Winning Ugly is rehearsed only for the Uruguay show, as a nod to their national football team. Some Girls is being rehearsed wit

So what song should Mick sing if he is going to perform? I can see Diamond Dogs go down great, Rebel Rebel a close second... Sucks to think like this, but hey, it's better than feeling sad...

I was highly entertained and impressed. Incredible job by JJ Abrams managing to have it be fresh, and with plenty of nods to the first film without crossing the line. Great plot, great action, Harrison Ford just killing it again as Han Solo and fun, exitement and emotional stuff. I was very positively surprised and look forward to the next installments. And absolutely rooting for M

I like Throwaway, Say you will, Kow tow and party doll a lot. I think a cool thought experiement would be what would happen if Mick were redoing it again himself or with the boys again. As long as we don't mention Mick doing Let's work on BBC's Top of the pops, I'm good ;-)

Great that he's doing stuff. I'm too mad still at the way he completely messed up Bryan Adams latest album, talk about being completely and utterly locked into one thing/sound only. I like his sound sure, but destroying other artists because that's the one thing only you can do, nah, just can't do it unfortunately

all the more impressive with the shows in 2007 where he really did a great job. I was worried after the feedback the beginning of that leg and then he rose to the occation in Copenhagen and played really well. Anyway, it is what it is, and every moment Keith is on stage is a moment I will cherish (knock on wood :-)
