Dirty Honey would be amazing, it was close earlier, they have opened for Guns, Black Crowes and Kiss. Such a great rock’n roll live band (they are my second favorite band to see live now) and they love the Stones obviously.

It could be that they had 23 songs and picked the ones for Hackney Diamonds to be a Unit of sorts. And then saved some of the more old school ones for the next album. Thinking that Hackney would be talked about as Stones being more current and the next one would be back to the roots… well see!

I predict for thr new tour, it will open with Matt Clifford playing an opening fanfare on his horn, followed by reading the nights setlist based strictly on warhorses, except the opening track which will then obviously be “Dont get angry with me” as a nod to the hard core fanbase;-)

I think Rufus Taylor is the obvious choice if they choose to continue. He nailed it and if he is super loyal to his band The Darkness, they can bring them on tour as warm up!

Please allow me to sot of end this discussion ;-) The best version of Rambler I+ve heard is... the last one I´ve heard! Because they are all unique, for positive or less positive reasons... They ALL represet Stones at their finest... when things are out of the comfort zone, where things can go wrong, where things are on the line! And okay, that being said, the ones I keep going back

Since the biggest study I´ve found concerning the effectiveness of wearing a mask (done by objective research in Denmark) showed little to no evidence of any significant effect, my answer is a big no. Also considering the very real and harmful effects of wearing one. If I´m sympomatic I´ll look into wearing a gasmask under a Darth vader costume and make moves like Jagger in the back of the st

I´d love to get JJF back as the closer and with the horn section in it. I expect a little bit more trying things out, now that steve is more comfortable in his new role. I expect Miss you to be cancelled by the woke & cancel culture because of the mention of race, excessive drinking, underage girls and dangerous behavior at night in Central park ;-) Maybe sympathy will be gone too

They are obviously doing it because they feel like it and because it felt right to do it in the fall, and it worked. And because the demand is still there. And because they got Charlie´s blessing and encouragement to do it!

It’s an amazing guitar, with it’s look and sound I can see why he’s stayed loyal to the Hummingbird. Would love the story behind his two birds. QuoteStonedRambler Love how he got all the money in the world but always carries around that one Hummingbird (and sometimes the blond one). He really has to love that one.

Actually he tested positive once, and then negative twice. And great by Magnus. Maybe his goal of reaching 2900 keeps him focused and motivated. Exiting to follow his journey toward that

I think we should see this as an opportunity to get Miss You out of the set list for awhile!:-) We have underage references (miss you child), excessive drinking, irresponsible behavior and racial stuff with the puerto rican girls ;-) someone somewhere has got to take massively offense to that! Just saying! ;-)

Nate How many though? Got the statistics? Sure, there are people who chose to be vaccinated and don't support mandatory vaccinations. I have a feeling these particular riots might not be of their interest though. What are people counting on really anyway? That the virus will mutate to something that's not dangerous at all? It is possible, so is the opposite. There is no freedom

Looks to me like he is using traditional grip on pib and sfm and yes matching grip on 19th- He has said that his goal was to get as close to the original recordings as possible and I guess he is using the grip that helps him with that. Vs Charlie that as far as I know stopped using matching grip in the late 60´s - which he only began to use because he had to play louder due to the screaming g

Maybe the festivals make the tour easier with having only one stage to move around in Europe (which is more difficult than in the US). And so building the rest of the tour around whatever festival dates makes sense as to keep the tour without whatever 4-5 day break they prefer themselves.

I miss Charlie too and I think Steve is doing a great job respecting Charlie vs trying to copy him (which I have´t heard anyone believe is possible anyway). He uses the same back beat playing lifting his right hand. He went from always playing Yamaha to Gretch too. I don´t think they could have made a better choice, also he probably fits in very well outside of the stage too.

QuoteNikkei Thanks for the reviews, I enjoyed reading those. This BS debate is predictably moronic Same here, used to enjoy them. now it feels like he’s made up his mind for good on too many things, and I choose a very positive approach to life. I ‘ll enjoy going back and read some of his old reviews now snd then for sure though!
