I was at a music gig Sunday afternoon at The Cavern Pub in SW London and when the music was over, the TV screens came on and the game was in Extra Time. Just about everyone, including the band, stayed in the pub watching it and when England scored the winning goal, everyone was cheering them on. A truly great win by the England girls and just finished watching their celebrations in front of

I've been watching bits and pieces of it so far and plenty of sports like cycling, swimming, boxing, Athletics, gymnastics, Diving I will take a big interest in. Great entertainment watching it all on BBC TV, as well as spectators watching it live in the Birmingham area and cycling in London Town. Have a great time everyone like yourself Tumlin73, watching it at the venues.

Saw Pete a couple of weeks ago at The High Tide Festival 2022 at The Cabbage Patch Pub in Twickenham, and what a great gig with a few of his many bandmates he can call on to perform with him. Anyway, this is a video taken during his recent tour of Bilbao, Zaragoza and San Sebastian in EspaƱa. Great Stuff and hoping to see him again playing in SW London within the next couple of weeks. Any

I've noticed the BBC are really plugging on TV the four Rolling Stones documentaries, even though it's only on i-player now as far as I know. I guess they will repeat the programmes on BBC TV every now and again, as they are doing now. I loved all four of them and the Charlie one really stood out for me. God Bless you Charlie.

Looks like the majority of fans on IORR were positive about the performance tonight, is great. Let's face it, IORR fans in Europe and all over the world, are very similar to North America fans, and of course South America, Australia and New Zealand. We all think our homeland love The Rolling Stones more than elsewhere........ but it's worldwide when it comes to The Rolling Stone

Just seen for the first time the BBC Charlie documentary and I really, really loved it. All four of these programmes were great, but the Charlie one really stood out for me. God Bless you Charlie.

Yes! I will be watching the Charlie documentary, followed by Some Girls Live in Texas, followed by Live at Wiltern Theatre. Looks like none of them are repeats on TV, including Charlie. Can probably get them all on BBC i-player, but haven't checked it out. Also of course we got the Paris Stones gig starting in about an hour and coverage on IORR. ><

Have a great time everyone going to the gig in Paris tonight. Weather is looking good with warm weather and no rain. I've got my evening planned with the BBC Charlie documentary, as well as two Stones gigs on BBC. Also of course watching all the live gig comments coming in on IORR.

I watched the England v Spain game while channel hopping, but it was a very close game and a good game. England won after extra time 2 - 1 and are in a semi-final, but I'm not so confident about England winning it. Hoping they will win, and get to the Final, but I now appreciate how good these other teams are. Come on England, you can do it.

I went to this terrific music festival on Sunday afternoon and evening, and it was nothing less than brilliant. So many great acts, and my faves were Peter Bruntnell with a few of his many, many bandmates and Robert Vincent who was also brilliant, and was watching the gig sitting on the left of stage. Luckily the weather outside was pretty warm, but nothing compared to Monday and Tuesday, w

The hottest gig I've been to was The Stones at Budapest in 2007. Had 3 or 4 days there and about 40C every day and still very hot at night. Budapest had handled it very well with cold water machines outside the metro stations with free cold water and ice packs given out. Was right up front near the stage and security were cooling the crowd down with hosepipe or buckets of water as well

Watched some of the two games in England's group, and England and Austria were the deserved teams getting through to the Quarter finals. Got a great weekend of live music in my area of SW London, so Sport will take second place in my priorities, but still love the soccer, Athletics, Cycling with Tour de France, and The Open Golf tournament in Scotland.

Looking back,I do agree with you DGA35 about having just one thread for the soccer tournaments going on at the moment. I will be channel hopping tonight with the two matches in England's group and World Athletics Championship from Oregon and Golf highlights from Scotland. Hoping to see England get a few goals past Northern Ireland, and maybe Norway giving a better performance tonight again

Your not on your own Stoneage, when you're talking about the Women's Euro 2022, as I thought 'What's this got to do about a tournament in North America?'. If anyone wants to discuss that, start a thread that makes it obvious. There miles apart literally, as well as whoever is taking part. 'Come on England', is my home team, and there looking pretty good

Yes! The Women's Euro has got very good coverage here on UK BBC TV, and I guess it's because England are the host nation. England 8 Norway 0 is a pretty good result for England, considering that Norway are usually such a good team.

Got my evening planned with an hour of Keith Richard followed by an hour of Ronnie Wood and then an hour of The Rolling Stones at MSG January 2003,and I was there, all on UK BBC 2 Saturday July 9th. Hope I can stay awake for Crossfire Hurricane.

An afternoon and evening of free live music in loads of venues in Twickenham. Been there before and it's great. The Cabbage Patch pub and The Barmy Arms(opposite Eel Pie Island) down by the Thames are probably the best known venues, but all within easy walking distance in centre of Twickenham. Some solo acts and some with their own band. My personal faves will be Peter Bruntnell, Ste

Just seen on the TV magazine that the Keith and Ronnie Episodes are on UK BBC 2 Saturday evening, followed by an hour of one of the two MSG gigs back in January 2003. Myself, brother in law and nephew were at the first gig, and it was great.
