Does anyone know how the details behind the "lottery" or how it works? Are these the same tickets available to purchase online? Lucky Dips? Thanks.

I agree with UndercoverLovingcup: The short answer is no; but, with that being said, there is absolutely nothing else (other than Backyard Bistro) around the stadium. There are tons of restaurants in Raleigh that are better than Backyard Bistro, but nothing else is within walking distance to Carter Finley and/or your comfort Suites Hotel. There is also a Wendy's, and that's about it.

JohnnyBGoode, if you are looking for beer, bars, socializing, and food, the best spots are in downtown Raleigh. Chapel Hill is also my home town, and, as StonedAsia said, it is a great place. But, it is a small town AND it's 23 miles from the stadium (so, approx. 30 miles from downtown Raleigh). Unless you plan on renting a car, most of your time should be spent exploring Raleigh. I thin

There is only ONE restaurant within walking distance to the stadium. It is called backyard bistro. The website is: . Everything else (bars/ restaurants) is either downtown Raleigh or on NC State's campus. The stadium IS NOT in downtown Raleigh. It is about 6 miles from downtown. North Carolina State University's (a.k.a. NCSU or NC State) campus is in between Carter Finley stad

So VERY excited to have The Rolling Stones come back to Raleigh!!! I will be attending the show. I am very familiar with The Rolling Stones, Raleigh, Carter Finley Stadium, and the area(s) surrounding Raleigh. If you are from out of town, or don't know the area very well, please feel free to ask me any questions. Looking forward to meeting some IORRollers... can't wait! July 1st

I am, rhbarnes00! Only problem is, Fort Bragg is not very close to Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill (The Triangle). Let me know if you're ever in the triangle area and we can talk Stones. I was also at this show in Durham! Great show -- it was played at the Duke Blue Devil's football stadium (Duke University), which is small for a football stadium. It is (3/4) bowled-in with wonderful ac

Does a clearer/ cleaner version exist from either the 66 or 67 tour? Or has anyone remastered it, or found a better version out there? If so, can you tell us where to find it, or post a link or youtube link on here? The Paris version is the best one I can find, the music is amazing, but the quality, overall, stinks.

Yeah They are doing really well in arenas now. My hats too to D jones for his bass playing. He is a great bassist. Hyde Park mix is incredible. I just bought it. This is GREAT and making my really happy! This will be one i will listen to a lot. How does Bob do it so quickly??? If he can do that, I'd love to hang with him for a day at his house and hear some of his mixing collectio

Question for Hyde Park attendees... how loud was the bass on Emotional Rescue at Hyde Park compared to the cd? The bass was killer (in a good way) on emotional rescue in the arena shows, but it doesn't seem as loud on the CD. But what was it like live at Hyde Park?

To launch 'Beggars Banquet' the Stones invited the press to a medieval banquet during which trays of custard pies were brought out for the Stones to fling at the room full of journalists. That is hilarious

Thanks, BV. By the rumored "fall tour," are you referring to 2013 or 2014? I know they are not strong rumors, but do you mean to say, for example, September of this year (Miami, etc....)? Thanks.

Should be like golf tournaments where they do not allow phones... In L.A. I recorded 15-30 seconds of each song. That's all I can handle before I have to dance or do whatever I need to do to feel like I'm actually there and not watching through a screen. But if I get a good 30 seconds to remember forever, I'm happy about that. I would NOT be opposed to a "no phones" p

Agreed, BV, you are the man. Thanks for all you've done. You should wear a shirt to all the concerts (for those of us who have never met you) that says, "hi, I'm BV." you should be getting free beer at every Stones show.. and then some. Thanks again!

A Rock and a Hard Place is such a cheesy song. I'm a Stones advocate in every sense, but I am not a fan of this song, or many others from this album.

Jeff must've spent his entire spring working on this mix. Wow, it is totally different than the original...... EXCEPT THE OPPOSITE. The song remains the same, except for a a few slight changes. I'm not sure why Jeff Bhasker got involved? Anyone could have added what he added to this song. Can anyone shed some light on who Jeff Bhasker, or why the Stones chose his masterpiece m

I think that is awesome! CYHMK, from #2 Chicago. I thought they were both good, both time he played it. I really want to hear Sway again. Mick J cut him off, and that solo sounded like he was ON FIRE that night.
