QuoteSpud FWIW I've found Totally Stripped to be perhaps the best balanced of all the archive live and "vaults" releases. It sounds almost like a wonderfully good audience recording ...and what else could you ask of a live album ? Agreed - and now let's hope for a better (than VL-U.) release of "Voodoo lounge in Japan"... to do this great, great world tour (ex

...I have PERFECT (hi-fi) audio equipment - rest assured. Annd it IS a matter of 'balance' ( > mixing); nót (just) 'volume'. OK; maybe it's not as 'loud' as previous releases... but then one only has to turn up the volume, right? Only to hear mr. Jagger even lóuder... Those guitars are mixed like f.i. the guitars of a Billy Joel backing band; nót fo

Quotenightskyman It's charming initially, for first verse, bridge and chorus (when Keith's vocals appear). The acoustic guitar chords/rhythm while repetitive are interesting enough. I don't have a problem with the lyrics, that's the charm of the song actually (a typical ballad). The problem is it's repetitive and too long and thus gets annoying as it proceeds. It'

QuoteStoneage I have a feeling Commander is not willing to release a new album before the tour since that would mean they would have to rehearse new songs prior to the tour start. (And do a lot of PR - which I think he is tired of). I don't think Sir Michael trusts his own group in that respect. Doing the same routine is easier and safer. Pure speculation, I know... I think you are ‘spo

There's exactly the same thread from during & after the NO FILTER tour legs '17 & '18. So dig there (too), if you really want to know, I'd say. And since al layout/ seating maps for USA '19 indicate PiT's (A & B ), I'd suggest you do so, if you (really) need to be convinced... Long story short: it's awesome there. especially on Keith&#

I'd say Yankee Stadium; which isn't 80,000 maybe but (probaby, I guess) close to it; and which isn't Manhattan either (it's the Bronx...) but close to it as wel (20 mins. subway ride) - and it 'mos def' IS NYC!
