Very sad news. He turned me on to so much music, and had such a wide range of genre. All I can say is that I appreciated his contributions to "What are you listing to' threads so much. Thanks RIP

QuoteSomeGuy QuoteMelBelli QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteSomeGuy QuoteMisterO Definitely like it a lot. But I do miss the days when we couldn't look up the lyrics. Trying to figure out what Mick said and getting other peoples interpretations was part of the fun! Since Black And Blue every Stones album came with a lyric sheet (Blue And Lonesome didn't, though, or maybe only the limited

Where was this show performed? I'm guessing the Capitol Theater in New Jersey or the Palladium in Manhattan?

Just for the record. "Jagger previously said in 2014 that anyone wanting to read his memoirs should “look it up on Wikipedia”, while in 2017 the writer and publisher John Blake claimed to have a copy of the singer’s unfinished manuscript and described it as “a little masterpiece”."

When Mick decided against his autobiography he said "If someone wants to know what I was doing in December of 1966, they can look it up on wikipedia".

This made me think of a funny line Mick said at a private Stones concert for Pepsi in I think Hawaii...."I did Coke for 20 years but now I doing Pepsi"....lol

If it is only Bill performing on one track, I have no problem believing the story is true. In particular since it is a tribute to Charlie. Really hoping it is more than that, but at this point I don't see Bill rejoins the Stones full time.

The tour cancelation comes a disappointment but not a big surprise. There were initial rumors of South America or Australia. Is there any possibly they will tour in one of those places instead?

My fondest Stones song memory was the night I learned how to play my first song on guitar. It was "No Expectations". I was so excited that I just kept playing it over and over until I fell asleep.

I thought Rihanna was fantastic. The visual on the floating platforms was probably the most memorable of all time. Although I thought there were too many dancers in those white hazmat outfits and it would have been better with about a third of them. I actually reminded me of Bowie's glass spider tour where the were so many people on stage you had to struggle to decipher which one bowie was.

Quotedkwalika I heard on NPR that "Money" was the only song covered by both the Stones and Beatles (that wasn't written by one or the other). That seems had to believe. They both covered "Roll over Beethoven". I don't think the Stones version was officially released.
