Quote71Tele Well, not surprising. It seemed he didn't know that Mick Taylor had played on PMS until after the fact. About 6 months after the fact, to be precise.

Highest price I ever paid was around £ 90,-. Not willing to pay much more since the guitarplaying hasn't been improving.

Quotesjs12 Funny, I was watching it but didn't hear that. Maybe it was when I popped out for a smoke. So can we expect to see Ann Robinson rocking away at the front? That might the best part of the evening after all. Muppet Show.

QuoteStonesTod anyone know where he lives? i'm thinking kidnapping has the most probable chance for success...feed him, take care of him, and then drop him on the stage at some point during an exile number and watch that boy play! It's not that Taylor would not accept the invitation - if THEY would extend it to him.

QuoteGazza The Stones really are so out of touch with reality its beyond laughable. We can either laugh or cry. Maybe we should just shake our weary heads. The Stones have definitely lost the plot. I don't know if alienating the real fans is what they had set out to do, but there's every chance they'll succeed this time.

Good points, pmk251. Just a case of the band having a taste of local culture, nothing to worry about. At least they're not afraid to experiment a little. They merely allowed him to climb on stage, not fully realising what they were letting themselves in for.

Quoteproudmary It's sad, isn't it? "The use of one of the most advanced forms of mobile technology currently around solidifies The Rolling Stones as one of the most innovative bands in the world and as relevant as they have always been". They're pathetic and delusional if they think using foking upps make them relevant Quite. What this means is that there is not

QuoteR He sold the rights to all of his songs about eleven years back for untold millions upon millions of dollars... Actually, he issue "Bowie bonds" in 1997 and got paid about $55 million for it. Strictly speaking they were not bonds but asset backed securities - the investor gets pay a fixed amount of interest over a specific time period. This is quite different from selling all yo

He's been taking it easy since he suffered a heart attack in June 2004, during the 'A Reality' Tour. In January 2009, he was at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah, for the premiere of the film "Moon", directed by his son Duncan Jones (who used to be known as Zowie Bowie). There haven't been too many public appearances since then, only occasional sightings at his f

QuoteDandelionPowderman I put the eyeroll-emoticon in my reply to sundancekid (in this thread), since he was speculating in Taylor's dental care costs/Jagger's role in it/royalty claims - something either he or we know nothing about. Speak for yourself please. I don't waste my time speculating.

QuoteNaturalust Also interesting to me is that Brown Sugar royalties still pay his rent after all these years. Probably why the Stones don't use union musicians much for recording sessions anymore, greedy bastards. The royalties that Bobby Keys is receiving for playing saxophone on Brown Sugar are not coming from the Stones (or their companies) and are not affecting their income.

Quotebeepee2 i'd say around 7PM, Hucknall and Wyman left together, Taylor left later, maybe 7:30PM. That's why the photographer (commissioned by the Daily Mail) missed him.

Quotejazzbass Wow. So all the Stones get the royal red carpet treatment and Bill is rolling in down the sidewalk with the common folk. What a dis. Still haven't seen one pic of old Fatty Taylor. You talk about dissing for Wyman because he casually walked down the Strand (which is a great area for a stroll) after seeing the photo exhibition and then you proceed to say something offensive ab

Quotemtaylor God knows what he has in the bags... high(er) heel sneakers for Mr. Jagger ) As the picture shows Wyman leaving Somerset House, it's obvious what's in the bags: copies of the officially endorsed 50th Anniversary book - for his children.

QuoteClaire_M This interview seems to put the kibosh to the story that Mick T. was sexually harassed out of the Stones by Mick J. That story was a strong contender for the most ludicrous Stones related theory ever.
