watching SA fans cry about the band over old tracks is not my idea of a fun film. I wanted way more time with the band in interviews or playing.

Joe filisko or jason ricci and ronnie shellist Youtube is a lot easier for guitar lessons since one can see the fingers moving. you cannot see a tongue behind the harp

marine band special twenty is a real nice harp if you do not play a lot. For blues music one plays a harp a fourth above the key of the tune...so when the song is in E one uses an A harp. If the song is in D one uses a G harp and so on. harmonica123 and Jason Ricci's channel on youtube are nice resources. I studied with Joe Filisko in chicago for a few years. Midnight Rambler which is in B

I love Ronnie's solo stuff....right through that tune he did with Mike Huckinal Coming Together. Slide on This is terrific and although short of songs 1234 is a blast. Ronnie is what I call a limited singer particularly in light of with whom he has played. as an aside I found Crosseyed Heart very dull Only played it a couple of times with friends whereas I have loved all Keith's oth

just turn that sucker up til it is breaking up a little and use your guitar volume to roll back to clean. If I am stuck using an amp I do not know I grab my route 66 pedal and set the drive very very low and if the amp sucks I add a hint of compression

keith is the only guitar AND the song is a direct and full Rip off of Sly Stone's tune Buttermilk. well except Sly says Buttermilk a couple of times. the long version of the song still does not have a second guitar let alone Muddy Waters.

I find her an interesting figure predating woman's lib. Her seems broken and doomed from the get go. infinitely sad She has horrible pitch control and her bands generally were not interesting to me. there are times when the energy on stage over came that but that is a lot of overcome and I could reel off a lot of other people that could do that material more justice. you are surely right...Mick's outfit shows I was wrong. Lefty Dizz was around town a lot so if they boys hit the clubs they'd run across him. Pic is clearly a 70s pic.
