QuoteValeswood QuoteKurt HAPPY WITH KEITH AND MICK SINGING TOGETHER. Please. I have always found it strange that with the attention they pay on spectacular visuals in a stadium, a simple thing like singing in the same microphone is so simple yet visually brilliant that it is overlooked. Speaks volumes about Mick and Keith's relationship. It wouldn't have to be in Keith's se

I concur with all the comments on here...wouldnt it be great if they proved us wrong on what is surely to be the last tour of the states. Like most say...the "back up warhorse" list is still recognizable to the casual fan....anyone who says different is not being honest with themselves. I absolutely agree that when I have seen some rarities played the place usually erupts in gratitude..

I would love to be joining you for this show in Portland it is about a 5 hr drive south for me (I am north of the border in New Brunswick Canada. I a big dead fan and appreciate what Bob is going for here....minimalist....letting the songs speak for themselves. Sad I am going to miss it again that will be off the hook in such an intimate venue like the State Theatre. GO!

QuoteJeter1984 With the ease of mobile ticketing on TM and Stub Hub, nothing wrong with doing that, particularly if you are by yourself. Also, if you're looking at either of the 2nd shows in NJ or Chicago, keep an eye on TM as soon as the stage is set up for the first show in each city. They will have the exact floor layout complete and seats may become available. There is no "may

Caveat: I love this band and always have...I will be attending a show this tour and have seen every tour since Steel wheels. I have heard the arguments in favour of them playing the same songs over and over and I just cant agree with this thread anymore due to the fact that I have been let down one too many times with the recurring setlists. It is absolutely absurd to me that they do not alter th

Quoteangee I think they were saying about 50,000 GA tickets were sold for that day, most of them GAs, compared to the 100,000 let in on other days. Is that others' understanding too? Yup have tix and have been researching quite a bit. The word is that they limited sales to the 50K range (According to festival organizers). BV - did you get VIP for this show or are you GAing?

Quotehopkins i was sort of looking around at the Pasadena Rose Bowl show tickets available just now; i'm just priced out of this in seats an old faht would tolerate with happiness for a night out; or at all pretty much; $$. but i'm thrilled they are coming; totally in the spirit... it'll be great to have them in town. i've only seen a handful of live shows; some all the w

QuoteMisterDDDD QuoteAquamarine Quoteab There are all kinds of shows that go on during Jazzfest. But if it isn't at the Fairgrounds, it isn't part of Jazzfest. This. Otherwise any band who plays anywhere in N.O. DURING Jazz Fest could say they played Jazz Fest. But they didn't. And with Jazz Fest all but announced, it will undoubtably be at the Fairground. I'm betting

Quotemosthigh QuoteGasLightStreet QuotePaintitBlue Thanks for the info DEmmerson! Does anyone have any insight as to what kind of setup this could be? e.g. What has NOLA Fest done in the past for the big names within the fairgrounds will there be any kind of pit? VIP? etc? It would appear it will be a separate purchase from the regular festival day passes and VIP weekend passes. Or is it just a c

Quote35love Open air in May people are worried about? Nahhh. Look at the football fans in the Winter for cryin’ out loud. (^subliminal message for songs ‘Winter’ ‘Worried About You’) It's not the crowd comfort that worries me....it's the near 80 yr old men on stage outdoors in early May. It makes me pause and wonder is all...I know there was a lot of chatter from the band about t

Seems to me that the recent activity on facebook by the band appears to indicate an imminent announcement? Any credence to this thought by those in the know? Could this bode well for some mid to late fall North American dates by chance?

QuoteDeanGoodman QuotePaintitBlue I know you go to a lot of shows Dean....are you suggesting same "wait and see" approach for tickets? I am planning a trip to Italy from Canada regardless now...and have secured accommodation in Lucca area. Plan to go to show but am unsure of how long I should wait to procure a ticket. I thought you already had Lucca concert tickets. Or do you mean

QuoteDeanGoodman Four months until show time. I wouldn't stress just yet, unless you are flying Alitalia and they finally go out of business. There will be (tens of) thousands of people in the same situation. If the worst really does come to the worst - which it won't - it is only a 4-hour walk between Lucca and Pisa. I know you go to a lot of shows Dean....are you suggesting same &qu

I have tried and tried for the pit tickets have yet to see any pop. Travelling from Canada and wanted to ensure pits...very frustrating getting out of bed at 4am for nothing every presale and public sale day. I thought Stockholm would be easy as well but I never saw any pits in either presale or public sale this morning.
